According to a story on Mashable, Mingce Long and Deyong Wu, scientists from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, in China have leveraged this intel and devised a special cotton material that can clean itself when left under ordinary sunlight.

Even Kate Moss showed off a few strands of gray when the trend reared its silver head 6 months ago. We thought the look was going to fade away, but it seems to have unlikely staying power.
