Rock-n-Shop is a hybrid retail/live music experience designed to explore the fusion of fashion and rock-n-roll. The Rock-n-Shop concept emphasizes fall’s biggest trend: rocker-chic fashion. Fusing retail/entertainment and shopping/listening, Rock-n-Shop showcases 25 apparel, jewelry and accessory brands, as well as live performances by indie bands. Throughout the three-day run, bands/artists spontaneously ‘Pop-Up’ to perform.

Long and lean girls, look out! Michelle Siwy of Siwy Denim has a Spring 2009 collection that’s right up your alley! They might be super trendy for the spring, but I love Siwy’s distressed, light-wash mini shorts and shredded skinny jeans. Sure, a bunch of other labels carry them and they are definitely a DIY item for our bargain hunters, but rarely do you come across such a perfect fit! Granted, i’ve never actually tried on or owned a pair of Siwy denim jeans or shorts, but the models dictate a comfortable and contour fit, giving girls extra length and leaner legs! Watch out Abercrombie…your days are numbered!
