In a sleek store that feels like Calvin Klein went to a festival (think stark white with a glow stick explosion), sits a display of plastic. Plastic molded into shoes. Shoes by some of our favorite designers of all time. Gareth Pugh, Jason Wu and Vivienne Westwood are some of the latest designers to team up with Melissa to create a line of shoes that embody their aesthetic at a price point we mere mortals can afford. Melissa has been jellying shoes in Brazil since 1979, and just opened their first U.S. store in SoHo three weeks ago. We took a look around at the baller collabs and the trippy vibes that reverberate within the shop.

The downstairs floor imagery is constantly moving. As is the back wall. It's fluid, kind of like the capabilities of plastic. Oh, and they're also 100% recyclable, in case you were wondering.

Read on to see the collaborations up close.

You can get Gareth Pugh on your tootsies for $105! It's really got his DNA in every aspect of the shoe. He told their in-store magazine Plastic, "I don't collaborate a great deal with other brands, so whatever I do with this needs to be done in a way that I am 100% happy with the product before it goes out."

On the chosen print: "The print of the sandal is very characteristic of my work. It emerged from a drawing that I did as soon as I left college and since then it changes a little bit every season. It is a historical print in my career."

Jason Wu set out to make something very characteristically him, and also Melissa at the same time. "It's a pleasure for me to work with plastic in such an innovative way. It is a very modern material present in our daily lives and the possibility of making it more fashionable is very interesting."

"It is amazing what Melissa can do with plastic. Each shoe has a character and tells a story." - Vivienne Westwood

Dita Von Teese snatched all three of these line-backed peep-toe wedges on her Melissa visit.

You can't buy Melissa online, only in the store. Let yourself be Wu-ed into the store. Or go to one of the more than 700 stores worldwide that carry them.

Galleria Melissa
102 Greene St
New York, NY

But you can check out the shoes pre-visit.

I met Robot years ago in a Soho Starbucks; his radical fur bow tie begged a conversation. Last night at the StyleLikeU party, I had the distinct pleasure of meeting the other half, Brucling (pronounced Bruce Ling, see below) over a dangerously studded leather jacket and an open tequila bar. I learned that the Alacran Tequila drinks are strong and Brucling does custom studding. The duo, Robot & Brucling, makes break-neck bow ties that will either spark a conversation, or make others fear you slightly. Either way, stunning.

If you’re in the city tonight, keep your eyes peeled for Raquel Zimmermann hanging out on the side of a building. Alexander Wang , the consummate guerrilla marketer, will launch his fall 2011 ready-to-wear promotional video with a series of projections all around Manhattan.

“We’ve rented these trucks and the video will be projected from the trucks onto the sides of buildings. Some will be roaming, some planted,” explains Wang.

The video, featuring Raquel in all her super glory, was shot in an abandoned grain factory in that jewel of Brooklyn, Red Hook. Wang was apparently going for “gritty” and “raw” and it really doesn’t get any grittier — or rawer — than an abandoned anything out somewhere in Red Hook.

You’ll be able to catch Raquel crawling over the Upper West Side, SoHo and the Meatpacking District for six hours tonight, and into Thursday and Friday night. [WWD]

- Lady Gaga‘s lucite dick-heels were apparently too raunchy for TV prompting Fox censors to throw the American Idol logo over the heel-head. [Styleite]

- Also in Gaga news, she’s got a lucite hard-on for Kate Moss. [Modelina]

- New York’s own Provocateur nightclub has a drinks menu designed to smooth, plump and even skin tone, which means I’ll be drinking even more in the morning.
- Will Smith‘s ego has manifested itself in the form of a movie trailer and Soho residents are not impressed. [Refinery29]

- Young Versace, Versace‘s new kids line will be debuting for Spring 2012 so everyone get ready for kids prematurely in touch with their inner sexy.
We love all of the arts here at FashionIndie, so obviously this has been an exciting week with the Tribeca Film Festival going on in NYC. We’ve been running around town, finding the best places for celeb sitings and taking a peek at what’s in their gift bags. With only two days of the festival left, check out our guide below on where to eat, the best places to party and how to relax after a full day of films.

Where to eat: We have spotted celebs at quite a few places this week, but some restaurants stand out as hot spots for Tribeca Film Festival goers. If you’re in the mood for seafood tonight, you’ll probably spot some famous faces at Blue Water Grill or Ocean Grill. If jalapeno margaritas and table-side guacamole is more your style, Dos Caminos is always a good bet. But if you have hearty meat on the brain, Wildwood BBQ and Primehouse are also festival favorites.

Dos Caminos SoHo

What to drink: Booze, obviously, but what kind and where? Mixologist and author of The Cocktail Primer Eben Klemm created three signature cocktails for the star-studded after parties going down during the fest. At The Bunker Club, grab a “Revenge of the Electric Car” – Stoli Vanilla, Lime, Cassis, Ginger Beer – for a strong but refreshing cocktail to unwind from all that film watching. If a warm spring weather has you in the mood for something fruity, head to 675 Bar for a “Angels Crest” – Stoli Raspberry Infused with Rhubarb and Strawberry with Moscato d’Asti – or “Detachment” – Stoli Orange, Solerno, Grapefruit, Apero.

What’s in the gift bag: The best part of any event is kicking off your Louboutins and peering inside a great gift bag. We took a peek inside a few from the Tribeca Film Fest and found some awesome swag. You can booze during the films with a Stolichnaya Vodka miniature and carry your life around in a Will Leather Goods piece, the official bag of the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival.

Colette Malouf is a lifetime New Yorker. Born, raised and currently creating in SoHo, she has been surrounded by the energy of emerging artists, both in her neighborhood and family, her entire life. There was never a shortage of elegance or grace in Colette’s home, and we are lucky to have that sophistication translated into her gorgeous hair accessories and costume jewelry. I met Colette in her beloved neighborhood for lunch, and she painted beautiful narratives of shopping with her father, Sundays at her grandmother’s and what she would wear to a cabaret in 1920.

You grew up in creative New York neighborhood SoHo in the company of artists and in the midst of your family’s loungewear business, Perfect Negligee. What influences from your background, both culturally and business-wise, do you interpret for your own line?
My grandfather left Lebanon in 1920 and started Perfect Negligee based on the caftan. My great-grandfather was cultivating mulberry trees for silk worms, so there has also been a history of textiles and silk in my family.

I grew up with Canal Street in my backyard and spent time rummaging through the odds and ends I found there. I was seeing the emerging scene in the East Village and SoHo, and loved it because I’m a creative person. There is always a refined angle to my designs because you can’t take elegant out of my DNA. I grew up in velvet robes with lace collars. Sunday at my grandmother’s was layers of china, crystal and silver. My family was extremely formal and my father very dapper. He never wore jeans. I remember going shopping with him and I would be like “look daddy this is so cute” and he would say “no honey look at the poor stitching.” I couldn’t buy anything that was bad quality.

So you spent a lot of time in your grandmother’s attic and exploring the treasures of Canal Street. Do you have any favorite pieces that continue to inspire you?
Oh yes, I have a lot of those things. I saved all the leather suitcases and lots of jeweled shoes. I have this bronze statue of a 1920s girl arched back holding a dish. I saved perfume bottles from the 20s that belonged to my grandmother. I discovered these Elizabethan-looking velvet sleeves adorned with white mink and tubes of black velvet. I was saving everything as soon as I got my paws in the drawers, and those objects continually inspire me.

I found this really cool chain on Canal Street once. It’s an intricately designed, cast leaf texture on figure-eight shaped link. I found out it’s a chandelier chain because I recently saw it on the Bowery in a store going out of business. I loved all the little trinkets I would find on Canal.

Your father always made you pay attention to the quality of a garment, and your customer is looking for this same type of elegance. What do you do to make sure your product stays consistent with these expectations?
It all starts from the beginning. When I decide to work with a material and a factory, I have to be able to trust the quality. If I think the material is too fragile, I decide not to work with it, even if I love it. We ship internationally and a material must withstand production, handling and wear. There are things I can’t do because I know the quality will disappoint my customer.

Do you ever find you are inspired to create around a fabric rather than starting with the design itself first?
I look at many aspects when I approach design. I look at all materials to see what I like and then figure out what to do with them. I look at the attributes and obstacles to working with them. What are the confinements and what are the opportunities? Then I look at all of the manufacturing possibilities. Some pieces require handwork, and others are made with machinery. I take everything into consideration before settling on a final design.

What can the Colette Malouf lady not leave the house without? Who is your customer, and what is she like?
She is highly educated, likes to travel and try new things. She has a very strong sense of integrity. Before buying something, she carefully decides if she identifies with its quality or originality. She’s curious and a culture seeker. She goes to the theater and listens to music – she’s so interested in life. She shops in the most expensive stores, but also goes antiquing and likes to find unusual things to mix with her collection of modern pieces. Something old, something new, always elegant in her motto.

You occasionally lecture students at Parsons about design and the fashion industry. What do you tell young designers in the industry about starting a business? What can you learn from these students?
I tell young designers to think about what it means to have your own company because it’s a huge sacrifice to have all that responsibility early in life. I can’t even count how many times I couldn’t attend Sunday brunch or go on vacation. Owning a business isn’t for some but inevitable for others. I couldn’t work for anybody else because I needed to express this strong vision I have. My life is dedicated to my vision, and I’m sure you’ll hear the same story from many designers.

I look to young people in the industry as a checkpoint. I ask myself if I’m getting too serious or too safe. I try to listen to my assistant because even if I can foresee obstacles with certain designs, it’s good to be open to others’ opinions.

Do things like nature, architecture or other designers inspire you? What really speaks to you?
For a long time, I was really nature and object-inspired. But now I’m much more passionate about being experientially-inspired. I feel a piece can be inspired by one single element, but it doesn’t work that way for the collection as a whole. A recent trip to Turkey heavily inspired me, as do the 1920s. I think about what I would wear sitting in a cabaret in 1920 and bring the customer into a narrative. It’s the storytelling that I really enjoy and find inspiring.

Sometimes its hard to remember why I get into something, but seeing a picture, texture or material can start to spark my inspiration. I have all these impressions of life stored in my memory bank that I build upon and turn into a story.

Buckling under the weight of such beautiful objects, and body falling into a standing broken-down doll, this outfit may take you down the rabbit hole.
Look Four: AvaMaria in Wonderland

The Oil Slicker Saddle Heels: Repetto, $250

It started with the Repetto; this time, oil slicked. In the most beautiful way, it looks like a dirty puddle. It was love at first glance. Repetto is famous for ballet shoes, and construct gorgeous others for we non-professional-dancing folk.

The Mini Checker Shirtdress: Cacharel, $178

Ah the shirtdress, blue and gold checked, enhances the hidden hues of the Repettos. So dainty on its own, so innocent, yet vibrant as well. Cacharel took off in the 1960s with its iconic shirtdresses designed by Jean Bousquet. Following in the traditional footprints, they are still prevalent today.

The Kitty Silk Top: Paul & Joe Sister, $228

A shirtdress is a shirtdress, and I couldn’t wear just a shirtdress. I was jazzed to find this complementing silk top that slid underneath the open top so smoothly. The blues dance together and the checks on cats patterns don’t protest too much. Famed French menswear designer Sophie Albou started Paul & Joe in 1995 and branched into les femmes in 2006 with the little Sister.

The Waving Belt: Linea Pelle, $188

The gingham and the shirt came alive together, but the look was still lacking something. Linea Pelle belt corsetry filled that void. With the ends fastened at the back, the shaping quality of waving leather strips brought more shape to the silhouette.

The Flowering Rings: Marie-Lise Lachapelle, gold-plated leaf, $350, silver orchid $375

The silver and golden leafy rings flourished on one hand, enhancing the dual tonal quality of the entire look. Marie-Lise Lachapelle constructs these structures by making molds from actual orchids and leaves. That’s why the metal has so much wildlife in it.

AvaMaria is tucked away along the cobblestones of Crosby St just So. of Ho. Inside you’ll find a load of Louboutins and Choos and DVF wraps next to relative unknowns that will soon circulate your wardrobe. Store owner, and former professional ballroom dancer, Katherine Virketiene’s buying philosophy lies in that when you buy something one season, you’re going to have it forever. Therefore, she doesn’t always scramble to get the very newest in Ava Maria, much of her energy goes to finding the best never-before-worn pieces from recent seasons past, and sells them a discount.

The Swishy Jumpsuit: Zimmerman, $360

Look One began with a washed silk jumpsuit. With a solid boned bodice, the heart shaped neckline hugs sturdily on the ribs. This allows the swishy washed silk to sway to the billowing harem whilst staying put on top. The pockets are deep and the ankles are stretchy; Australian duo Zimmerman has paid attention to the details.

The Recycled Net Top: Camilla Norrback, $188

This next piece came into play because of its netted quality that sees clear through to the jumpsuit. As playful as it is practical in the practice of layering, this shirt also happens to very conscious of the world around it. Swedish designer Camilla Norrback can claim eco-friendliness since 2002, and has made this top out of 100% recycled polyester.

The Orchid Statement: Marie-lise Lachapelle $375

Pinned to my hair is an orchid dipped in gold, the flower immortalized as jewelry, preserving its natural beauty. This piece originally sat as a necklace in the display, but with a thick, long curved bobby pin, it became a hairpiece rather simply. With an entrepreneurial sculptor father and high fashion model artist mother, Montreal native Marie-Lise Lachapelle captured the attention of her own celebrity clients with her stunningly delicate jewelry. She made the jump from styling to full time jewelry making in 2005.

The Mary Janes: Pedro Garcia, $180

Just about the only thing that could compliment the flower in my hair is Mary Jane. And this pair by Pedro Garcia elevates the look with a touch of demure formality. Hailing from the south of Spain, the brand breathes the Mediterranean Sea.

There are infinite ways to wind up in Court, but you’ve got to be pretty smart to get out of there guilt-free. Thankfully store owners Lisa and Nicole have stocked the store with highly logical pieces. Including this multi-funktional five-way “skirt”, and a dress I bought from them a while back by Something Else that zips everywhere. Court is brimming with gems like these.

Now you have even more of a reason to go to Court: 15% off when you mention FashionIndie!

Look Three: Tassels in Space

The Convertible Skirt: Funktional, $120

There’s more to this skirt than meets the eye. I know you think it’s just a gorgeous splatter of galaxies morphed around a body, but it becomes so much more. There’s actually five ways to wear this piece! Created by economics major turned designer Jennifer Park, she knows how to maximize supply and demand and get the absolute most for your money. Check back tomorrow to see another way to wear it.

The Galactica Jacket: Funktional, $160

Part leather, part stretch, this jacket doesn’t just wear, it gives a hug. Plus with its super spacious pockets, there’s room to tote it all. The squared lapel falls in such a way that it lends itself to options.

The Silk Shirt: Mink Pink, $60 (originally $78)

Short in the front, long in the back, the weight and shape of this top falls lightly on the body. This brand from Australia has fine quality goods.

The Striped Wedges: 80/20, $118

Cork wedges get even further summerized with relaxed colored stripes on canvas. The inclination of the heel isn’t so high, but they’re tall enough to give a nice boost. Designer Ce Ce Chin draws her brainchild from the surf (she’s learning the art of surfing out on Far Rockaway) and Jeff Spicoli’s Mexican baja (Fast Times, man). These shoes yell city hippie dippy and I like it.

The One Ear Fringe: Dust & Bones, $68

Whoa, this is revolutionary. It’s an earring – just one. Long and fringed leather bundled onto a hook makes for an exotic look. The new visionary independent jewelry maker is Janell Jet. She makes it in several colors, but I was partial to the pale green. I paired it with the ivory leather hair corset on the other side – I like the mismatched balance.

The Leather Hair Corset: Court, $48

One of the owners of Court, Nicole Tondre, is responsible for putting these tie up leather binding hair pieces into our known market. They stem from Native American origins as the traditional way to tie hair. The leather wraps around the hair and it ties up like the top of a boot with a tightening bead at the end. As Nicole grew up around this influence, she’s always known about their existence. Though I don’t think any Native Americans had it in patent leather…

This Court room is a treasure trove of layers. Especially with the majority of pieces being shades of black and white, the garments are merchandised to live with one another, complementing and interchanging. I clothe myself by the philosophy of layering, so to have selected a dress, a single solitary layer of clothing for Look Two, you know this dress must be super fascinating.

Got yourself a Court order? Mention FashionIndie and receive 15% off!!

Look Two: Maximizing Singlet

The Cutout Maxi Dress: Stylestalker, $178

This head-to-toe stunner comes from the land down under by the self-confessed, style obsessed twosome Sue-Ann San and Rachel Zeilic. From the front, the side cutouts jut in the most universally flattering part of the torso – the ribs. The strips that line the decolletage add more effect to the skin peekaboo. The front is a trip, but the back of the dress finishes the puzzle, lines connected by exposed zipper. The python print is subdued in icy white and black.

The Side-Laced Wedge: Madison Harding, $185 (originally $265)

Repeat shoes? Guilty as charged. But, get mileage out of your suede boots while you still can, and rock them with a maxi. Come summer, you’ll want something strappier.

Can’t make it to Soho? It’s okay, shop online! www.courtshop.com

Boutique Critique was taken to Court. I can’t get into the specifics of the arrest, but I will fiercely deny any allegations that it involved Rebecca Black and a finely sharpened object last Friday… Well, the trial ensues upon the lacquered black floor of the Court room, with a film noir NY color palette and western-leaning-California vibes; highly suspect if you ask me. Reimagined t-shirts of many weights and structures intersperse silken black dresses, leathers, sweaters and the occasional floor length chiffon. Though the case appeared to be rather black and white, shades of gray and few jumping hues peeked through as evidence of the brighter buying choices. The jury has been out for the whole week, and they want more proof. Over the course of this week, come sit in on the trial, and help us reach a final verdict.

Guilty of lusting after that jacket? Mention FashionIndie and get 15% off everything on the Court room floor.

Look One: Shredded ‘n’ Leather

The Long Tube Skirt: Mary Meyer, $94

California native cum NY transplant Mary Meyer fuses her talent for art into clothing that makes sense. Most notable for her geo-graphics and dyeing, she also has some revolutionary ideas about garment making. The construction of the skirt is what inspires me: she’s purposefully left the knit hemline unfinished so that the wearer may cut it to the desired length, no tailor required. The ground grazing-option takes effect when you place the waistline at any height. Named the AJM Skirt for Andrew J. Mukamal of Kell On Earth assistantship, Meyer was inspired by his grunge gone goth glam; long soft layers that counterpose plaid and leather.

The Shredded Top: Evil Twin, $89

“A physical copy of one’s self whom has altered morality” is the definition of this Australian brand’s namesake. I gather that this Evil Twin‘s twin shirt would not have holes, nor spaced fringe, nor a marble tie dye, all of which sneakily camouflage my exposed skin. With the skirt up high resting just below the bosom, I only have need for a bust long top. This holy top was born to move and shake, so if scandal isn’t your thing, throw a hot bandeau underneath as a bra, and let the hue show through. Lest you end up locked up for indecent exposure.

The Leather Jacket: Kill City, $458

With a slouch squared collar and super long sleeve lining, the relaxed rocker jacket is the ideal weight for Spring’s transition. Based in LA, Kill City is forged in that flexible weather to the sound of the rockin’ punk wail of Iggy Pop.

The Side-Laced Wedge: Madison Harding, $185 (originally $265)

Created intently for the downtown pavement pounder, these suede wedge booties ground the outfit’s transitional effect. Hilary Rosenman of Madison Ave., N.Y. and Barri Budin of Harding Dr., N.J. hauled their fashion knowledge to the East Village and began making astutely designed Madison Harding shoes.

The Hair Corset: Court, $48

Their very own hair corset comes from the Native American tradition of hair tying. They lace up like the top of a riding boot and encapsulate the pony tail. More details on this piece in the coming looks.

If you have to go to Court, this is for sure the one to go to.

Aritzia is like Urban Outfitter’s Canadian cousin, and she’s making movies to the Big Apple. First, there’s the preliminary visit, so she can get her bearings, then she’ll move here full time, bringing friends like Rag & Bone, Rachel Comey and Vena Cava. Aritzia is opening a pop up “Shop Before the Shop” in Soho this weekend, and pretty much couch surfing there until her permanent two story home opens this May.

According to Racked, it’s opening tomorrow, WWD says it’s opening Sunday, but Aritzia’s blog insists it’s opening this Tuesday the 8th. When it actually decides to open, it will be at 524 Broadway, on the 3rd floor. But on the way up, you’ll have to pass by her not as cool distant cousin Banana, the Republican, who’s letting her crash in the spare bedroom.

Check their blog in the mean while, for a bit of their Spring Preview, like this:

The two launched their first joint collection, +J, in October 2009, and ever since the line has been received with worldwide enthusiasm. The Spring/Summer 2011 collection will finally launch Wednesday, January 26th at the UNIQLO Soho NYC store.

The Spring/Summer collection 2011 turns to wide spaces and primordial color contrasts: chalky Sahara whites, taupe pillars of stone, boldly outlined by fiery red, sky blue, and elemental black. Dresses look easy: meticulously fitted to invite free movement. Blouses are both, sporty and feminine, tops range from classic to Kaftan. Looks come together with weightless jackets in various styles and fabrics such as light wool, twill, and techno-taffeta. Pinstripe pants with jackets have been masterfully executed and reduced to their essence. Ultrathin sweaters and t-shirts give shape to the body.

We can’t wait to get our hand on these pieces when they hit stores next week.

Here are some price points:

Outerwear $149.90 – 229.90

The New York Times just reviewed the newest DASH boutique in SoHo, and to no one’s surprise, think it’s mediocre at best.

Please read this quote from the NY Times, and you too can feel glad:

Whether it knows it or not, Dash is a pop-up store, practically biodegradable. (Odds are the sisters didn’t sign a 20-year lease.) The design is deeply unambitious: some tables, some fisheye mirrors, some hanging racks, white walls. “This store needs to be our signature look,” Kim says in the preview for the TV show. If she meant “temporary,” they’ve succeeded.

Maybe a little push from America’s finest newspaper will send the sisters back to L.A.

It’s Saturday morning on the last day of July and I have found myself up at the crack of dawn. Why? Well, it beats me, but it’s absolutely beautiful in the city. A fresh, cool air is wafting through my window and the sun is gleaming happily in the sky. It seems as if this heat wave we’ve been having has finally decided to pass. Sartorially conscience New Yorkers are abuzz with excitement for fall fashions and the three B’s (Bergdorf’s, Bendel’s and Barneys). Life seems so lovely at the moment and I can’t help but to think what a perfect way to end the month of July.

Besides the normal excitements of fall and fashion, tomorrow marks another splendid occasion and a new beginning. Not only is it the first day of August, but I’m also making a move and changing up the scenery. I’ve packed all my belongings and am moving downtown – to Soho, the mother ship for street style bloggers, that is. The forty-ish blocks that are between my new location and me will make all the difference in the world and I know that it shall be grand.

I look forward to the French bistro on the corner, specialty coffee shops for never ending amounts of espresso shots, the narrow streets, quaint stores, new shopping spots and beautiful people. These elements and all the style sightings I will surely experience on a regular basis will be exceptionally inspirational.

Cheers to yet another change and happy weekend!

Soho’s first “Browologist” salon, Hibba NYC, is an organic salon that promises a warm and inviting experience for all your hair removal needs. Owner Hibba Kapil coined the term Browology© as the signature brow sculpting art of creating perfect eyebrows for your face…

The salon is warm and welcoming, complete with candles and meditation music and offers a precise range of services including her signature threading for brow and facial hair-removal.

Hibba consults with each client first by drawing the ideal shape with a brow pencil and threading around the shape. A soothing temple massage and rosewater compression completes the experience. The result, a perfect face framing brow.

Hibba NYC’s company motto is ‘Go Green with Threading™’ using only natural cotton thread for threading and offering a choice between two natural waxes, Sugaring and Azulene. Sugaring, which is adopted from ancient Egyptian methods of hair-removal is made from sugar, water, gel and rose oil and Azulene is an all natural wax composed of mushroom extracts, chamomile and resins. Together with threading, natural waxing and sugaring, Hibba is making the hair removal process an overall easy and enjoyable experience. Sugaring is also said to reduce the the amount of regrowth and soften the hair that does grow back.

Hibba NYC is not only dedicated to improving your look and maintaining an eco-friendly practice – they work hard to give back to the community as well. Every Monday, the salon closes its doors to donate their time to various organizations that work towards philanthropic causes. Most recently Hibba NYC assisted with the New York Restoration Project and The American Cancer Society.

Hibba NYC is conveniently located on West Broadway and Prince. More info on HibbaBeauty.com

According to a correspondent who attended the meeting, the reason behind the decision is an existing restriction from selling liquor on the first floor of buildings in that zone. Hmm, last time I heard, TopShop is supposed to be multiple stories! Although TopShop might have made more money, selling booze and clothes to the downtown drunkards, at least they won’t have to worry about customers vomiting on clothing racks, engaging in random hookups in the dressing room or being roofied while browsing through the men’s section.

Eryn Brinié’s style is a representation of a trend, yet never seems to loose it’s touch of practicality and subtleness. The soft colors and delicate approach makes the collection sophisticated and ultra feminine. Eryn Brinié represents a woman who is warm hearted and sensible, yet possesses a slight artistic flair inside. Lucky for us, she is moving her store to SOHO. The clothes that line the 2,700-square-foot shop reflect her personal style, likes her fashion slouchy and chic. Eryn Brinié opens today.
