Love this collaboration, seems like a perfect combo. Available here.
SPREAD UM: Freja Beha Erichsen by Sølve Sundsbø for Vogue Nippon, July 2009

Sølve Sundsbø shot Freja Beha Erichsen for the July 2009 issue of Vogue Nippon.
The black-and-white spread, titled ”My Cowgirl Hero,” is a grown-up and non-porny re-imagining of the traditional cowboy. The subtle matador influence keeps it in the high-fashion realm rather than in the rodeo.

MAG HAG: Dazed & Confused Man Machine Issue with Gaspard Ulliel

This month, expect steel tendons and X-ray vision as Dazed & Confused bows before the might of the man machine. Bestriding the cover is young French film star Gaspard Ulliel, who talks about his ambivalent relationship with the fashion world, and his latest English-language film The Vintner’s Luck. Styled by Jacob K and shot by Solve Sundsbo, this feature kicks off an eye-popping exploration of this season’s best menswear

MAG HAG: Magdalena Frackowiak for Numéro 103

Magdalena Frackowiak for Numéro 103 (May 09) shot by Solve Sundsbo. Such a beautiful cover, love the contrast of the all pale makeup and blond hair to the brightness of the orchid stem.
FASHION PORN: Photographer Solve Sundsbo

Amazing photography from amazing photographer Solve Sundsbo. The first few images are of Gisele in contrast with a very muscular unknown African male or two
The last few are super sexy, showcasing male bodies in contrast with high end fashion accessories.

SPREAD UM: Iris Strubegger Shot by Solve Sundsbo for Vogue Italia, February 09

I love this spread shot by Solve Sundsbo for Vogue Italia even though Iris Strubegger looks super creepy as a wax statue. Regardless, makeup artist Maria Olsson did a phenomenal job making Strubegger’s flesh look man-made. All of the dresses look fantastic on her, but I especially love this backless number.

MAG HAG: i-D March 2009

For the March issue of i-D you’ll have your choice of 12 cover girls, all English models: Kate Moss, Yasmin Le Bon, Alice Delllal, Lily Donaldson, Naomi Campbell, Eliza Cummings, Twiggy, Susie Bick, Daisy Lowe, Jourdan Dunn, Agyness Deyn, Stella Tennant.
Working with stylist Edward Enninful, Solve Sundsbo photographed each model completely differently (but all with the trademark wink), and each girl has her own cover quote.

AD-DICT: Scarlett Johansson for D&G Cosmetics Shot by Sølve Sundsbø

Scarlett Johansson is the perfect canvas for this shade of D&G lipstick. The bombshell looks amazing as a Monroe-esque pin-up girl with her fair skin and white-blond hair. Red lipstick AND fingernails have always been a little much for me, but this ad makes me want to give the look a second chance.
Thanks to Fashion Copious for the photo.
SPREAD UM: Freja Beha Shot by Solve Sundsbo for Vogue Nippon

Oh how I long for summer. This ultra-steamy spread by photographer Solve Sundsbo for Vogue Nippon makes me want to jet off to South America. The colors of the garments are so phenomenal, I actually don’t feel as cold as I did five minutes ago. Model Freja Beha knows how to make sweaty look sexy. Maybe I should take some notes for summer’s 95 degree subway rides.

TomKat: Old World Hollywood Style

This past Sunday, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes hit the shelves in The New York Times Style Holiday 2008 issue. Shot by photographer Solve Sundsbo, the black and white spread looks like an old world Hollywood movie…probably one involving a sappy, infidelity filled love story. The photos are absolutely stunning…at least they will tie me over until I can see Holmes in the January Miu Miu campaign! T Style is available in stores and online now.
Thanks Fashion Copious!
