Song for the Mute is an Australian design duo on a quest to bring the masculine silhouette into the 21st century. Slouch harems in wool suiting, lengthy jacket back zipper pull tabs, layers of air thin basics beneath boiled wool and lambskin. Founders Melvin Tanaya and Lyna Ty are overturning menswear down under, and they’re showing this season in Paris. Check their Autumn/Winter 2011 collection, Milieu, in this film of outback desolation.

I just fell in love…I’m not kidding either.The Fall/Winter collection from Song For The Mute is incredible. The cuts are unique and definitely keep this basic collection interesting (especially the tees). The jackets are insane, and who doesn’t love a great pair of black denim? Two thumbs up from me!
