One day each year, a BLACK cloud rolls over department stores. (Ah, the price of a good sale.)

You know what I’m talking about. People turn EVIL for this 24-hour stretch!!

They steal your parking. They cut you off while driving. They push you into walls, step on your toes, snatch the last sweater, climb over your back, sneeze on your shoulder, yell in your ear and contribute to general chaos.

They bite. They claw. And they gnash their teeth at you. They turn into CRAZIES.

I’m not one to pass up a sale, but let’s be honest. People get that look in their eye, and their goodwill turns black towards other shoppers.

The new Guess? ads are out, and causing a case of Deja Vu. The ubiquitous blond Guess girl has gone “Back to Black”, by channeling their inner Amy Winehouse. The hair and eyes definitely resemble Ms. Winehouse. While, the look is epitomizes the soul singer, this could never be the infamous Amy Winehouse because the model is healthy, she is not calling for her Blake Blake or her three trusty backup singers.
