The Camisole: The camisole is one if the most basic pieces to your spring gym wardrobe. It should be fitted enough to show your body but not too tight because you still have to workout. Monarchy, one of the seven men’s fashion brands being revitalized at HMX Group, has completely redesigned the collection to reflect the relaxed attitude currently influencing sportswear. For Spring ’11 the color palette features cool, neutral shades of stone, oatmeal, ash, olive and charcoal. The signature graphic T-shirts have also gone through a transformation, scaling back the designs to reflect a more distressed finish with a vintage influence.

The updated look for Monarchy is presented in a hybrid fashion/music video look book featuring the stars of the upcoming Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, Reeve Carney and his band.

The video for the song Testify recently featured in the film Machete will launch November 8, was directed by David McIntyre and produced by Abe Gurko.

Marvel Comics is releasing a new series of comic books on August 26th that revolve around models and fashion.

So far, according to NY Times, “Models Inc.” will feature a trio of ladies – Spiderman’s love Mary Jane, Millicent Collins (Millie the Model), and Patsy Walker who is also a superhero named Hellcat – working to clear Millie of a crime she didn’t commit, the murder of a set designer. Their leader is set to be Tim Gunn, who will wear the Iron Man suit.
