Starting off the summer months with fresh colors and designs, label ABirato has us ready to hit the streets. With a great Summer ’09 collection of shirts, skirts, dresses and more the label doesn’t fail to impress. Along with the standard apparel pieces, there’s a ton of innovative accessories. A wide collection of shoes in numerous colors are displayed as well as some clutches to die for.

I’m loving the stark contrast between a gorgeous dress and disgusting old couch in the S/S 09 Lanvin ad campaign. Shot by Steven Meisel, this photo represents every woman out there- classy and beautiful yet an occasional mess. Along with the dress, the shoes, bag and accessories are perfect for the contradiction. Everything about this ad is awesome; I can’t wait to see the rest of the series.
Thanks to Women Management for the photo.

Oh, now doesn’t that sound rather unpleasant? But combine the idea of sweat pants with blue jeans and you’ve got a staple piece to Opening Ceremony’s s/s 2009 collection! Leave it up to American culture to sneak its way into every crevasse of the fashion world! They might not look any different than a pair of stretch denim jeans or denim inspired leggings, but with it comes down to comfort, I place my bets on the sweat-pant jean!

If you look closely enough, you’ll realize that this is really just the start of some artsy fartsy Parisian threesome.

Max Azria decided to go for the gold in their newest ads featuring the very flexible Olympian Nastia Liukin. With this and Madonna’s yoga poses for Louis Vuitton I’m thinking that flexibility is gonna be next seasons real must have.

H&M is looking pretty sophisticated for Spring 2009! According to the newest lookbook, you’ll be loving volume / drapery in a couple months, and the stores will be full of a mix between pastels and black & white. The women’s looks complement the men’s Spring 2009 preview we showed you last week.

Lvoe, lvoe, lvoe this collection. How refreshing to see a Spring collection which breaks some rules by using “fall” colors? Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2009 collection shined and the muted tones and deep earth colors shows that Marc Jacobs is still on top of his game with an understanding that girls don’t just want to rock pastels and florals when the weather gets warmer.

Johnathan Saunders presented a Spring Summer collection that incorporated futuristic metallics with living skirts. The colors were bright and fearless and gave the designer a much needed notch in his New York fashion belt. Can’t wait for the Target collection to arrive and to see if this designer creates a trend for the masses with his sleak styling and Spring color selection.
