Sure everyone talks about how much of a fashion icon Madonna is now, but what about right when she got famous? Here’s a blast from the past of Madonna in the mid-80’s. Before the stylists, before the mink-fur fake eyelashes, before the kids.

It seems that the tides have turned, Madonna the chameleon of style has rocked her last look and unfortunatly that look is a that of a soccer mom. Even here at Fashion Indie we are kind of over Madonna’s style. But have no fear there’s someone waiting in wings that take her place, her daughter Lourdes. I know we’ve seen the geek-chic, American Apparel look on so many hipster, but Lourdes has the ‘tude to pull it off.
