Style Inspiration: Stacy Engman

Edited by

Meet Stacy Engman, chief curator of the Contemporary Art Division at the National Arts Club. If the thought of a fine arts curator calls to mind images of a stuffy old woman, think again. Engman’s irreverent and edgy style is as provocative as the art exhibitions she curates, from her Philip Treacy hats to her “personal mark,” which bears the pagan symbol of a gargoyle who used her vagina to ward off evil spirits. Awesome gargoyle genitalia jewelry aside, Engman’s belief that we all need a symbol of our individuality is something that everyone can adopt into their style.

Kanye West’s Music Rep Might Suck But At Least He Has Fashion.

Edited by

It must be said that I’m not the biggest fan of Kanye, but I know that there are many people out there who like him, not to mention his twitter updates are unbelievably annoying, I pressed unfollow after five minutes. But as my mission begins to be a good American, I’m going to take away the negativity and say that Kanye has style… and just might have better friends in the fashion industry than anywhere else.

An autumn road

Edited by

It’s the first day of October! Oh my gosh, you have no idea how much that excites me. I absolutely love October – it’s by far the best month of the year! Gorgeous autumn colors, leaves falling, pumpkins, apple cider, caramel apples, the smell of fall, golden sunlight, hay-rides…
