Heckled by raucous Giants fans on her way out of the stadium, Gisele was videotaped saying, “My husband cannot fucking throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.” And this — understandably — did not sit well with Brady’s teammates, who felt the super violated the “code of brotherhood” by bashing her husband’s receivers.

According to TMZ, Tommy’s teammates are “disappointed” and feel betrayed by Gisele’s comments since as a team they not only win together, but they lose together. One source is quoted as saying, ”It’s like knocking someone when they are down.”

Well, sounds like it’s time Gisele bake an “I’m sorry” torta for the boys to mend any fences left totaled by her wifely concern. And if she delivered it in a bikini…wouldn’t hurt. #justsaying [TMZ]

For her much-hyped Super Bowl Halftime Performance (#GoGiants), Madge channeled the late Elizabeth Taylor in Cleopatra with a 13-minute extravaganza eleganza featuring “relevant” artists, Nicki Minaj, M.I.A., Cee-Lo Green and LMFAO.

To do justice to that great queen, the Queen of Pop turned to the house of Givenchy where Riccardo Tisi – who had designed costumes for her tour three years ago — was more than happy to conjure up some couture.

“People say everything has a limit, but limits do not exist with Madonna,” Tisci told WWD. “It is a great honor for me to be part of yet another historical and iconic moment.”

The Lady Ciccone also wore some white and gold diamond earrings from Bulgari, plus a stunning gold headpiece by none other than milliner king Phillip Treacy. If you’re like me and missed the Super Bowl and everything therein, take a look at Madonna’s blinged out performance below (before it gets taken down for copyright infringement).

1. Know the teams. Eli Manning and the New York Giants are squaring off against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. New York and Boston are the two worst sports towns in America because both believe they have the best teams when in fact they just have the douchiest fans. Same thing, at the end of the day. But considering the last time the Giants and the Patriots faced off the former proved victorious, expect a lot of unnecessary vitriol.

Which brings us to tip #2…

- Red-hot raptress Azealia Banks is apparently bisexual. But then again she’s a 20-year old kid from New York, so that’s like saying she apparently carries a knife on her. No big deal. [NYT]

25 years after truantly ingratiating himself into the hearts and minds of teenagers everywhere, Matthew Broderick is returning as Ferris Bueller…for a Honda commercial.

- It’s showdown of the has-been starlets! Lindsay Lohan and Megan Fox are reportedly vying for the made-for-TV role of a lifetime — on Lifetime —  as Elizabeth Taylor. [E!]

- L.L. Bean produced a Bootmobile that’s too big to fit the delicate foot of the Statue of Liberty. And good thing because I don’t want the symbol of this country in anything less than a stiletto, thank you. [Racked]

- The day before the birth of Blue Ivy Carter, over half of Papa Jay-Z‘s New York Rocawear employees were laid off for “economic reasons.”  Hey, someone’s got to pay for that $3500 lucite crib. [The Cut]

PETA has these snarky comments for their Grinches:

“Filmmaker and former visionary Cameron Crowe went retro in the wrong way for his new flick, We Bought a Zoo, which relied on the performing-animal industry—in which the “actors” are routinely neglected and even abused—instead of using state-of-the-art computer imaging. Exploiting live animals to tell a story about saving animals? At least Elizabethtown won’t go down as his worst creative flop.”

“Some have speculated that Kim Kardashian’s wedding to NBA forward Kris Humphries was fake. Too bad the socialite princess doesn’t have the same enthusiasm for faking her fur. Unlike her sweet sister Khloe, who starred in her own PETA anti-fur ad, Kim just can’t seem to divorce herself from fur and say ‘I do’ to a kind and kompassionate wardrobe.”

“When Janet Jackson had her infamous “wardrobe malfunction” during the Super Bowl, at least the flesh that popped into view was her own—unlike the stolen animal skins that she drapes herself with, which are as dead as her taste in fashion (not to mention her career). Ms. Jackson, you’re just plain nasty.”

PETA’s outrage over Janet stems from her Blackglama‘s “What Becomes a Legend Most?” campaign, which has featured a host of other legendary ladies including Diana Ross, Audrey Hepburn, Lucille Ball, Lena Horne, Barbra Streisand, Judy Garland, Elizabeth Taylor and Bette Davis. Now I can abide by ridiculing Kim Kardashian. In fact, I even fully support it. As for Cameron Crowe, so sue the guy for wanting to use real animals — that’s not to say they weren’t treated humanely on set. Plus, how bad could he possibly be? He did Almost Famous (and almost convinced the world Kate Hudson could act).

But you don’t just go around insulting divas like that. Sure she may have flashed a few hundred million people. Sure she hasn’t had a hit in god knows how long. Sure, she’s been relegated to starring in Tyler Perry movies and Nutrisystem commercials. But what about the good times? What about the parade of hits and classics over the past 25 years? And more importantly, what about her hot billionaire boyfriend who probably keeps her up to her wigs in all the stolen animal skins she wants?

It’s time someone stood up to people like PETA, which makes me proud to announce the formation of my new charity, PETD (pronounced: petted) — People for the Ethical Treatment of Divas. Divas are not ours to eat, wear, or experiment on — just to use for entertainment and in drag shows.

The fragrance itself, described as “the ultimate connoisseur’s scent”, was a concoction of pepper, grapefruit, lavender, vanilla, and patchouli (aka light, cool, and a little intimidating).  Former NY Times Scent Editor Chandler Burr walked us through each individual scent in a fun and compelling sniff class that broke it all down.

Who is this man exactly?  GQ Style Correspondent Brett Fahlgren told us that the character behind the scent was “a contemporary charmer, with a spirit of masculinity– a man who is courteous, refined, and cultivated” while the designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana remarked “he is worldly, successful, impeccable, but also boasts something else such as an innate elegance that distinguishes him from the rest”.

More exciting news at the event was the launch of Dolce & Gabbana’s new iPhone app, “Rules for the Modern Gentlman” which was written by Dylan Jones, editor of GQ UK.  The app was designed to cover tips on etiquette (like asking a girl on a date properly), style & grooming (like how to match your patterns), and quick solutions for gentlemanly predicaments (sort of like the how to eat a pork loin off a rib without disturbing the passed appetizers peace).  Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana told us, “The application is a perfect reflection of the scenarios that the Dolce&Gabbana man may find himself encountering; as a modern gentleman he can approach each situation with a sense of poise and confidence that distinguishes him from the rest.”

When looking for the campaign’s face, naturally, the brand turned to Hollywood ladies man: Matthew McConaughey.  The campaign video showed off McConaughey, the one gentleman himself, the morning after an epic celebration (very a la How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days). Still tuxedo clad, he strolls through the party ballroom doing exactly what we would all do after a grand night at a ball, staring into a beach sunset.  How dapper. We recommend the scent for the young and elegant set, the gentlemen of our generation.

You may recognize Josh as the hunky love interest from *cringe* Katy Perry‘s “Teenage Dream” video…

But he’s more than just eye candy. He’s also a writer-director-actor…but he’s probably best at being eye candy.

After her now infamous (and perhaps drunken) “reaming” of “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the Super Bowl, in addition to her divorce, flop album, flop film, and noticeable bloat, she’ll have to pull off a comeback of Spearsian proportions. (Though, let’s be real, Britney is totally phoning it in at this point.) [Gawker]

- Prince booted Kim Kardashian‘s booty off his stage after she didn’t shake what Kris Jenner gave her hard enough. [EW]

The King’s Speech stuttered its way to 12 nominations, while True Grit lassoed in 10. The Fighter came out swinging and took 8 nods, though not one for its leading man, Mark Wahlberg. The Social Network friened 8  nominations as well, but the hype from Black Swan might have stepped on the film’s toes, garnering only 5 nominations — which, by the way, does not include one for Best Costume Design…the Mulleavy sisters are maniacally cackling in their atelier right now.

Black Swan‘s supporting actresses, Mila Kunis and Barbara Hershey were also shut out. Instead, Amy Adams (The Fighter), Golden Globe winner Melissa Leo (The Fighter), Helena Bonham Carter (The King’s Speech), Jacki Weaver (Animal Kingdom) and 14-year-old Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit) will compete for that honor.

In a surprising twist, Mark Ruffalo earned a (well-deserved) nomination for The Kids Are All Right, which was nominated for three other awards including Best Actress Annette Bening (her fourth nomination and thankfully Hilary Swank is nowhere to be seen), Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay.

Ruffalo will compete against Golden Globe winner Christian Bale (The Fighter), Geoffrey Rush (The King’s Speech), John Hawkes (Winter’s Bone) and Jeremy Renner (The Town).

Host James Franco might have to pull double duty should he win Best Actor (he won’t, Colin Firth‘s all but claimed it and already has his name engraved on the statue). Nominated for 127 Hours, Daniel Desario will face (and arm) off against Firth (The King’s Speech), Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network), last year’s winner Jeff Bridges (True Grit) and surprise nominee, Javier Bardem (Biutiful), who apparently usurped Ryan Gosling for Blue Valentine.

The Best Actress category, however, held no surprises. Along with Annette Bening, Natalie Portman (Black Swan), Michelle Williams (Blue Valentine), Nicole Kidman (Rabbit Hole) and Jennifer Lawrence (Winter’s Bone) will have me on the edge of my seat in anticipation.

I’m so excited! Besides Fashion Week, there’s no other time of the year I love more than Oscar season! It’s the Super Bowl for the gays…besides the new Glee episode directly after the Super Bowl.

Each QB was scored, 1-10 in the following categories:

Genetics, Personal Style (including hair), Overall Hunk Factor, Media Skills, Endorsements, Dealing with Controversy, Style of Play, Importance to Team, Excitement Factor, Leadership, Legal Woes and Jerk Quotient.

Tom Brady did well in Genetics (9.5) and Overall Hunk factor (9.25), but earned a 4.75 on Jerk Quotient. I guess I’m not the only one who remembers that Bridget Moynahan debacle.

Meanwhile, Michael Vick may have had a great season (so I’m told), but those dog fights certainly came back to bite him in the ass. He came in at #9 out of the 13 QBs, deterred by his (lack of) Endorsements (1.5), Legal Woes (8.5) and Jerk Quotient (7.75). However, he scored a perfect 10 for Excitement and despite everything he’s still pretty hunky (8.25).

Then there’s Peyton Manning who WWD considers an unattractive slob but who’s apparently a great player and an overall good guy. The chart in its entirety is below so you can see for yourself how your favorite quarterbacks measured up.

Now excuse me while I dip my Buffalo wings in my homemade laxative dip.

Though this sadly won’t be a tribute episode to the Gloved One and we’ll have to sit through covers of the Black Eyed Peas, Katy Perry and Lady Antebellum. I nearly fell asleep at the keyboard after writing that.

This episode will be Glee’s most expensive ever and probably one of the most expensive in television history. The storyline will focus on the local football championship and the Cheerios cheerleading regionals. I hope this means Sue Sylvester‘s doing Vincent Price’s rap then:

The foulest stench is in the air/ The funk of forty thousand years/ Or could I be mistaken/ Will Schuester’s hair?

And if that isn’t enough news to bejewel your cape,  there’s a tribute episode to Dame  Elton John in the works. Give me a little “Benny and the Jets” mixed with a little “Circle of Life” and I’ll be happy.
