Not Another Superhero Inspired Collection

Okay, I think I’m officially over the superhero/fashion trend.

The latest superhero to get the couture treatment is none other than Kryptonian cousin, Supergirl.

Shoshanna Gruss and Laura Poretzky of Abaete have already been tapped to bring the collection to life and a slew of other New York designers are being brought on to create fashion pieces inspired by the woman of steel.

Usually, fashion follows the trends of the world. Are we all looking for a hero?

Seriously folks, we need this like we need another movie starring Paris Hilton.  Can we call it quits on superhero fashion?

Am I off on this or are you all for a Supergirl collection.

PS. Why girl?  What no Superwoman?
