I. Just. Died over the Alexis Bittar Resort 2012 lookbook. Give me disco balls. Give me neon chokers. Give me monochrome twig bangles on machine dangled hands. When a metal jeweled bow tie eclipses a white hair shoulder piece, I’m openly lusting. The surreal artistry of this lookbook transcends the magical quality that Alexis Bittar brings to his craft. Hang these in a goddamn gallery. This is art.

Lately there seems to be a trend towards surrealist inspired editorials, and these Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin shots are no exception. Apparently the inspiration is Leonardo da Vinci, but I see more Dali with the use of the human body as art, the blending of gender and extra limbs.
