I’m a happy tourist in the USA with my American flag shorts and my flip flops…but I’m also wearing a Public Enemy shirt so maybe I’m not a tourist because I don’t want people thinking I’m a terrorist…so maybe I’m just having a good time…but I’m also wearing a SARS/Swine Flu mask and that is NOT a good time…wait, I’m confused!!! This swine flu thing is getting ridiculous. It’s such a major “crisis” and it’s getting so much press, you’d think it was the fourth Jonas Brother or something. Anyway, the whole thing is just a way to get you to run to Duane Reade for flu supplies, so don’t buy in. Yeah, people are dying, but that’s nothing new, right?
If you really must fall victim to the hype, do so in style. Here are some options from a 2008 editorial for L’Officiel Singapore by Chuando & Frey called “L’ infirmiere de la mode”, which might translate to Style Infirmary. Enjoy.
