I Have No Problem Cutting Off a Toe for These

I Have No Problem Cutting Off a Toe for These

Well, Target (pronounced Tar-zhay) has done it again with another designer knockout collabo. This time La Dolce Vita has turned out three and a possible fourth style for the massive chain and will be available at the recently opened East Harlem location, with other stores to follow on August 22nd. prices range from $29.99 to $34.99, right around my favorite bracket. Now, if they only make any of these in a size 12, preferably a 12W for these damned man feet, I’ll be golden.

Brown Wedges: Under $50

Brown Wedges: Under $50

So my quest for finding a pair of brown wedges finally ended yesterday. I had fallen in love with the brown wedges from the Cynthia Vincent for Target line, but unfortunately they were completely gone by the second day. I made a couple of calls to Target stores (okay…make that MANY calls for a couple of weeks) trying to see if they would get a new shipment, but no luck. I finally gave up, but still was on the hunt for finding a pair of brown wedges.

I had a $25 birthday gift card from Macy’s so decided to see what I could find there. Still no luck..until finally yesterday I stopped by Steve Madden and they were having a sale! I found these brown wedges…which were just what I was looking for. They were on sale for $39 (originally $90). They had a lot of cute shoes on sales…so def. be sure to check them out. What do you think?

PARTNER: Buy This, Not That

Edited by

PARTNER: Buy This, Not That Mossimo (Target) Oscarina Striped Canvas Loafer $16.99
Madewell
Ropey Soles Simple Espadrilles $48.99

I first saw these flat espadrilles on Marissa and was pleasantly surprised to hear she bought hers at Target! A few weeks later I saw them in Madewell and fell in love all over again. Blue and white stripes have become a favorite of mine this summer and I can picture myself wearing these with bermuda shorts and racerback tanks on lazy weekend days. Normally $48 wouldn’t seem too pricey for a pair of shoes, but after knowing the Target pair cost $16.99 I couldn’t help being partial to the cheaper pair. What do you think of flat espadrilles? Which pair would you prefer?

PARTNER: Summer Bedroom Makeover

Edited by

As you finish packing away your winter clothes and stocking your closet with shorts and tanks, don’t forget about de-winterizing your room! No more keeping the cold air out, but it’s high time to let the summer breeze in. Here are a few tips on how to give your bedroom a new summer wardrobe and look:

PARTNER: Summer Bedroom Makeover1. Move your bed so that it’s opposite your window. This will let you catch whatever summer breezes come your way. This should allow you to move the rest of your furniture to fit the new location of your bed. If you’re fortunate enough to have air conditioning, this might not matter, but who doesn’t like a breeze every now and then?
