Lately, it seems as though all of our favorite celebs are getting star tattoos!  The tiny emblem seems to be a hot trend amongst young Hollywood.  Though all the stars seem to adorn the small design, the reasons for the tiny tattoo seem to differ from one celeb to another.

Actress Leighton Meester, of Gossip Girl, has said that she got her star on the set of Remember the Days. Her and actress Jess Manaford got so close on the set that they decided to get tattoos together once the movie wrapped up. Fellow actress Taylor Momsen has also recently marked herself with the design. As well as Avril Lavigne, Lindsay Lohan, and even Rihanna, who has a whole line of stars on the back of her neck!
