We on the other hand posted this picture of our editors Amanda & Jessica back in May.

We have to admit that Kim’s look in the photo is pretty flawless (Dying for that Dolce & Gabbana jacket) but don’t let that cloud your judgement.

Photos for Beyonce’s new ad campaign for House of Dereon were just released and she looks smoking hot!

She looks very edgy, sort of channeling Rihanna’s style in the ads.

She is sporting blonder than usual hair with dark eyes and a lot of skin and fake tattoos.

If you actually take a moment away from staring at Beyonce, you will notice some of the cool and edgy clothes from the line. Looks like they are stepping up their game.

Why is Brett wearing a giant, mean gorilla on his t-shirt? Ugh. I’ve been trying to get him off the band t-shirt kick since we got married. No luck so far. It’s the band – Gorilla Biscuits – but I’m sure most of you didn’t know that and are thinking he’s just sporting some weird gorilla t-shirt. Bahahah. I like his cute little UO shoes and rolled up jeans though! Plus, his lighthouse is clearly visible in this photo! I love his sleeve to pieces. I know it’s weird, but it’s like “home” to me when I see his tattoos. They’ve been there such a long time and they’ll be there for the rest of our lives. My Grandpa had a Native American woman tattooed on his forearm and she aged with him as he got older and I just loved it.

A Swedish night club turned away two women because they sported visible tattoos.

The Swing Inn, a Malmo club with a policy of excluding women with tattoos, had permitted the women entrance on other occasions during the past few years.”They told us that they don’t let in women with visible tattoos. But if we put on a sweater it would be alright,” Jessica Brotherton said, referring to herself and her friend. “We want to have a well-groomed clientele with neat clothing. We think that tattoos look distasteful,” Holst said, adding the policy only applies to visible tattoos, as the management cannot ask patrons to remove their clothes.

First of all, this is kinda fucked up! I understand strict rules on clothing, but 90% of the world has some sort of ink, whether visable or not, this is sort of prejudice.

I can’t say that I’m terribly interested in getting a tattoo, but should the ink appear, it will be for a some sort of sentimental reason. Fashion may be my biggest obsession, but it would take a large chunk of change, quite a bit of booze and some very persuasive friends to get me to tattoo a designer logo on my body. Here are some diehard designer fans who felt incomplete without their favorite labels permanently etched in their skin:

Lily Allen, while partying with Lindsay Lohan on the strip, decided to get a SHHH… tattoo on her finger. Rihanna’s had one for a while so this wreaks of biterism, but that’s just me.

Remember that tramp stamp you got that looks like a tribal butterfly speaking Chinese obscenities to a fairy? Yeah, that shit ain’t got jack on this. Connect the dot tattoos are better than chocolate chip cookies and milk and will give you a level of cred that’s unmatched.

I’m dying to see more of these cause there’s no better pick up line than, “Hey baby, wanna connect my dots?”

Cool or Not So Much?

Granted, if you are a man it would make sense since most of the time you’re covered up, but as a woman wouldn’t it just distract from your decent set of baby feeders, possibly preventing you from ever looking presentable enough to do anything worthwhile with your life?

It’s especially annoying when nothing else about your style defines you as rebelious as the crazy ink blasted across your clavicle.  I mean, if you had some wicked hair, some additional tattoos and piercings, and had your arm around Travis Barker, it would definitely be worth the permanent ink, but if you look like some Texan Walmart employee who’d rather spend her days at a baseball game than at the gym, this look just borders on poser.

If I was a chick and had a chest tattoo and looked like the completely random person we found above, I’d probably spend my days on FashionIndie.com, talking shit about Daniel Saynt and acting like I was important or something.

Oh yeah, and the Astro’s suck!!
