Waxing Nostalgic: Kate Middleton in Issa, McQueen and Madame Tussauds

Edited by

If the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge look a little more stiff than usual you can thank Madame Tussauds, the famed hall of wax build-ups, which revealed Kate Middleton‘s very first rendering today in London. Her royal fierceness wears an exact replica of the Issa dress in which she announced her engagement to Prince William all those many months ago. Designer Daily: Paper London

Edited by

Business wear rarely makes the ranks of Designer Daily, but the three brilliant ladies behind the brand new brand Paper London are being a bit brighter about it. And crisply chic. These ladies may look smokin’ in tiny pleated skirts and poly/elastane tanks, but they clean up nice when powered by a council of designers. At least most of them do… See which one aced it, and which ones baselined.

Groundhog Says We Can Wear Spring Sooner

Edited by

Spring’s a comin’ early! Punxsutawney Phil (and Staten Island Chuck?) insists that warm weather is coming sooner than later, by virtue that he did not see his shadow this morning. We thank him profusely, for perhaps it was the little furry shadow fearing creature that called off today’s looming NYC blizzard. Well, a more expedient arrival of Spring means all of those looks we’ve been lusting over since September(!) are almost ours to taste. And it also means farewell to those trends we’ve gotten plumb sick of in this snow heavy winter.
