You have to admit it’s a really big deal trying to pick out the perfect costume every year, no matter how old you are. With Halloween just around the corner I figured we’d throw some ideas here and there… so far here’s what I could think of…

It comes as a surprise that it took everyone so long to notice the amazingly gorgeous Mila Kunis before the very seductive Black Swan. Clearly Kunis has been rocking the screen since the hit tv show That 70′s Show!

Blake Lively is moving up in the ranks of the world right before our very eyes. I’m still getting over the shock of His Lagership naming her the official spokesmodel of Chanel, but we’ve been thrown another doozy. In a survey by AskMen.com of over 5 million guys to rank the Top 99 Women of 2011 (bit soon, isn’t it?), Blake Lively ranked number 1. Yes, Serena van der Woodsen just scored first place. Who else made the list you ask…?

I know it might seem like we’re a little obsessed with Alice + Olivia, but that’s only because we’re obsessed. Ever since last New York Fashion Week when we got a sneak peak at all the 70′s inspirations of wedges, flared pants, and flower power creating the Alice and Olivia Spring 2011 Ready To wear collection it’s topped all, but of course that’s something you’d expect from a collection that’s like a party in your wardrobe… I’m still waiting on the exclusive A+O metallic gold manicure!

Awards season is upon us. Movie studios are rushing out all the award bait now and it’s only a matter of time before the red carpets are rolled out, designers are bribed and cajoled and acceptance speeches are played off mid-sentence. Do you hear that? It’s the sound of half-hearted applause.
