One of the most talked about up and comers right now is definitely Amanda Blank, and after picking up her new album I Love You yesterday, I can’t wait to see her perform live! My favorite track off the album is definitely “Might Like You Better”. The artist recently held a remix contest for DJ’s around the world, and my good friends The birD day put out one of the best remixes I have ever heard. So not only do I recommend picking up the Amanda Blank album, be sure to check out the The birD day as well.

I’m usually such a brat about my music because I’m scared that if I tell people they’ll ruin it for me, but I CAN NOT get this out of my head. The band is called The Bird Day, and in the wake of bands like MGMT and Cut Copy, The Bird Day is coming through to perfect and conquer the indie music scene. They are a really new band, so a lot of their stuff is yet to hit the speakers for a lot of people, FOR NOW! I dare to you try and listen to the track “Feel My Blood” just once, it’s IMPOSSIBLE!
