FashionIndie’s Blogger Break Room A Spa-tacular Success

I had over 200 Valentines this V-Day! That’s the number of bloggers and fashion pros that gathered on Monday at the Lookbooks Lounge for FashionIndie‘s and Lookbooks‘ first ever Blogger Break Room. In conjunction with Spa Week Daily and Kitten Lounge, our wonderful guests were able to relax with free beauty and spa services courtesy of Spa Merge including massages, manicures and eyebrow waxing; NK Salon provided facials for anyone who might have been ravaged by the cold; and U’Luvka vodka kept everyone well-lubricated throughout the afternoon while munching on Popchips and cupcakes from Cupcakes and Compliments. Several of our guests took time out to get properly blinged thanks to Completely Bare‘s snazzy vajeweling and designer Louise Manna‘s gorgeous jewelry.

Though everyone was (predictably) well-dressed, bloggers had the option of adding one of Koza‘s fabulous handbags to complement their outfits. And don’t forget to vote on those outfits in our Best Dressed Blogger Contest! The blogger with the most “Likes” wins a $100 Spa Week Gift Certificate and a pair of exclusive Manolo Blahniks.

We were all winners, however, when party photog Mark Hunter, aka The Cobrasnake dropped by to try out a spray tan from Be Bronze and treated us all to the sight of him walking around in a speedo.

Yes, kids, ’twas a memorable day and a glorious respite from the tents. We got to meet a bunch of really great bloggers and build some fashonable bridges. I even got a chance to interview my new blogger friend Nubia Mejia of Nubia’s Nonsense and gifted her a pair of Manolos for sitting down with me.

Now if only I could have massages from the divine Olga from Spa Merge everyday of my life, everything would be perfect…

New York Fashion Week Fall 2011 might be ending but the style extravaganzas are just beginning, and are we excited! New collections to warship, new colors, cuts, lengths, and everything in between. Clearly one of the reasons to love fashion is the change and thrill of it all, the what’s new, what’s out effect of the seasons, and this season right before heading out to the next city we’re adding new bloggers that might top off the Rumi’s and the Glamourai’s in the this blog filled world.

Mark Hunter a.k.a The Cobrasnake, another favorite socialite photographer who’s a bit on the wild child side. He knows everyone who’s everyone, from L.A. To NYC and probably places that we can’t even pronounce, he’s obviously one to know if you don’t already know who he is! Plus, he looks pretty sweet in CK briefs after an exclusive Lookbooks spray tan!… and you can shop on Cobrashop all the time!

Christina Caradona of Trop Rouge, a very edgy kinda style life, from black and white photography to awesomely bizarre outfits! this is the go-to blog for grunge attire.

Jared Allred of Crimes of Fashion “Tall and lanky with thick frames glued to my face critiquing the world around me. A lover of fashion, dark and humorous, analytical to the extreme. Sagittarius to the tee, Rising Aquarius. Bubbly persona with a quirky thought process. A free spirit with child-like curiosity, and an unhealthy amount of clothes.” .. Pretty much sums up this awesome up and coming blogger, not to mention always dealing with front row coverage!

Krystal Johnson of High off Fashion-”I give my readers what they want and so much more. Instead of dragging on a topic I maintain it short , juicy and straight to the point.”

Christen Rochon of Divas and Dorks …Everything fashionable, infamous and entertaining about technology! Finally a mix of fashion’s two most important feens, tech-love and style!

The Cobrasnake shot Jeremy Scott’s Coachella Toga Party this weekend. We just got the photos. Prepare to be widely jealous. Nah, just joking. There was a bunch of old people, fatties, and hairballs. Most were famous. Enjoy more photos after the jump.

Aggy Takes Us for a Spin in New Adidas Originals Ad

I’m currently playing this on heavy repeat at the Fashion Indie offices. The spring 2010 video lookbook for Adidas Originals features a bunch of models videotaping each other while dancing to the perfect soundtrack. Agyness Deyn, Ana Ivanovic, Cassandra Steen, Hyori Lee, Whitney Port, Tallulah Morton, Ciara and Cheer Chen all get their groove on and even Mark “The Cobrasnake” makes appearance.
