The 2012 SAG Awards took place last night, and our applause goes out to all the big winners. As always, we were super excited to see what everyone was wearing on the red carpet from the couture dresses to the 6-inch high stiletto platforms. It’s been one hell of a year for a certain occasionally-bearded, dog-loving thespian cum hunk cum meme. While some — read: everyone — feel he was unjustly robbed of another award earlier this year, Ryan Gosling is getting a double dose of appreciation from the 69th annual Golden Globe Awards. He’s pulled quite the hat-trick, getting nominated twice this year for Best Actor in a Comedy and Drama. Bradley Cooper was, to the surprise of everyone — read: no one — was not nominated for Limitless.

Kate Winslet, duck! There’s an Emmy flying directly at your head. Winslet gets one step closer to EGOT’ing with her nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Mini-Series or Movie for HBO‘s Mildred Pierce, which received the most nominations of any production with 21 nods.

I’m just gonna say it, I love Mila Kunis. Besides the fact that this happened, she’s really been turning it up and out on the red carpet as of late. Now in Los Angeles Times Magazine she gets a sultry photoshoot lensed by Ruven Afanador and styled by Hayley Atkin. Not only is she gorgeous, talented and pint-sized, but she also loves the comedy. I really need to behag* her ASAP.

A Jimmy Fallon-helmed Emmys actually ended up not being the worst thing to happen to mankind. Who knew? In fact, it was an entertaining, well-paced affair that ended on time — take note Academy Awards. It was also the gayest Emmys in recorded history. At times I thought I had stumbled upon the Tony’s or the GLAAD Media Awards. The homos came out roaring and took away a lot of the top prizes and I for one couldn’t have been prouder.

She’s smart, she’s funny, she’s a brilliant writer, a kind person, and a famous celebrity…but is she attractive? She’s done magazine covers, she’s walked the red carpet, she has stylists and a hair people and makeup artists that make her as glamorous as possible, but is she beautiful? According to Chloe at Feministing “Tina Fey fits conventional standards of female beauty almost to a T.” What do you guys think?
