Damn you, Marc Jacobs. The acclaimed designer had to move his show at the last minute — damn you, Hurricane Irene — causing a whole gaggle of girls who were supposed to fly to London Fashion Week to miss their flight. Then Gucci — damn you, Frida Giannini — pulled a cattle of catwalkers to Milan for early fittings, leaving London designers strapped for supers. All this negligent behavior and diva antics has some London-based model agencies threatening to boycott next season’s London Fashion Week if the British Fashion Council doesn’t get its shit together.

- Fashion’s Night Out, in addition to being a giant shitshow, is also a waste of time and money. Who knew?…besides anyone who went out that night. Still, fun is fun and free booze is free booze, but that may not be enough to bring it back next year. [Page Six]

Though no stranger to caking his face in a little — or a lot of — make-up, Tom Ford wouldn’t be caught dead in drag. While extolling his love of cosmetics to the Daily Telegraph, Ford noted: ”I was never drawn to walking in women’s shoes that’s maybe why some of them hurt. I never had a desire to wear the clothes. I’m probably the only man in England who doesn’t want to dress in drag. But make-up? That I’m serious about.” Whatever happened to taking one for the team, Tender?

Is this photo part of the campaign for Tom Ford‘s first beauty line, or was it ripped from the wall of a bustling nail salon circa 1986? The former answer is obviously correct if you look closely at the labels on the high shine lip gloss, but he could have fooled us.
