April showers bring… May showers?  While the weather has been acting bonkers lately, (Uhm, rain for almost three weeks in a row? Not cool.) Memorial Day weekend is only a few days away.  In other words, it’s time for the biggest bikini showdown of the year.  And now that 80° has hit NYC, we’re dying to wip out our swimsuits, lay out under Mr. Sun and tan the living shit out of our skin get a nice, healthy dose of vitamin D!  Just like everything else, bathing suits stretch out and deteriorate over time, and no one likes to look at a saggy bottom.  Lucky for you, we’ve found 20 on trend swimsuits that are perfect for summer poolside lounging.

Cinco de Mayo: a Mexican holiday, an American tradition.  Though the holiday was created to celebrate Mexican heritage and pride, other than the city of Puebla- where the victorious Battle of Puebla took place in 1862- it is mostly celebrated in America.  Nicknamed Drinko de Mayo, (because we need every reason to make up an excuse to drink) this holiday has been gaining nationwide popularity over the years, including in the fashion industry.

Indie Editorial: Punk Debutante by Luzena Adams

Up-and-coming fashion photographer Luzena Adams sent us this recent shoot she did for M2Woman Magazine, entitled “Punk Debutante,” and we were impressed enough to feature it on this big ole fancy site of ours. Model Lydia Carron brings the essence of punk through her scowls and deft posing while stylist James M. Rosenthal mixes and mashes the debutante with looks from Louis Vuitton, Missoni, Topshop, H&M, Theyskens Theory, Vivienne Westwood, Michael Kors and Burberry. With great hair and makeup by Conrad Dornan and Belinda Zollo, respectively, we can hopefully expect to hear great things from all involved. Check out the spread after the jump!
