I hate Crocs, those plastic looking shoes that are worn by overweight chefs and former Presidents, but I feel that Oobees may officially have taken the cake as my MOST HATED shoe of all time. It’s a house slipper you can wear outside of your house and it’s by far the worst thing I’ve ever seen.

The concept behind these goes a little like this, you like wearing your house slippers at home while wrapped in your snuggie and enjoying reruns of General Hospital and Maury, so why can’t you wear them outside, in public, where everyone can see just how much you’ve let yourself go.

Traditional slippers aren’t made for the outside and normally get soaked or fall apart, but Oobees (I’m assuming it’s pronounced obese) has the solution. It’s a slipper with a rubber sneaker bottom so you never have to attempt to look stylish in public ever again!!!

The best part (or is it the worst part) is that there are matching handbags, make-up bags, t-shirts, pillows and blankets to match your Oobees, so you can shout to the world “I’m Here, I’m Oobees, Get Used To It!!!”.

Not that I have anything against the Swedes, but the Dutch Boy clog is one shoe catastrophe that shouldn’t see the light of fashion. Of course. Oak seems to disagree, cause they just purchased a bunch of the style murderers for spring.
