Really boring cover of UK Vogue, I’m getting the feeling that Mario Testino was not inspired when shooting this.

Black & White + Odd Model Poses = A total waste of a couple of perfectly good mag pages…

Just saying.

The latest issue of Vogue UK has an awesome spread titled “New Frontier” that features garments from the spring 09 runways of Calvin Klein, Lanvin and Balenciaga. It appears that photographer Lachlan Bailey snapped pictures of the models prancing about on a roof. The clothing looks great; it’s getting me super excited for spring to arrive.

The latest UK Vogue shoot is probably one of the most random I have seen in a long time. The magazine chose quotes from Roald Dahl to include in their spread consisting of Tim Burton, Helena Bonham Carter and random nudity. Very random.

This month’s issue of UK Vogue not only features that amazing Roald Dahl shoot, it also features an avant garde tribute by Nick Knight. Entitled ‘Unbelievable Fashion’ this editorial goes through the most mind blowing garments of the last years. Viktor & Rolf, Issey Miyake, Thierry Mugler, Galliano and Alexander McQueen are just a few of the names whose frocks make an appearance.

Another month, another Agyness Deyn cover. This time the “it” model is on the cover of UK Vogue. There are no editorials inside on the model, big surprise, which means she just got the cover for being so god damn good at modeling.

The face has a level of surprise, as in, “Oh, shit your taking my picture, cheerio!” Okay, I’ve never actually heard a British person say Cheerio, but I assume they only say it when the yankees aren’t around.

The look is killer with tall white summer heels, ala gladiator style, and a necklace that is an eclectic mixture of tons of shit that would look very cool on any girl on the street.

Definitely worth a read.
