In the three black & white vids, shot by Douglas Keeve, Tollman discusses her styling process and creating a character or persona for a given scenario. Michael Kors Getting Into Men’s Underwear

Even though he’s a married lady now, Michael Kors is still trying to get men in his briefs. The fashion tycoon is expanding — pun, as usual, intended — into men’s underwear, loungewear and sleepwear.

The advertising campaign and/or packaging features a badly airbrushed male model with disturbingly small nipples being embraced from behind by a naked woman — probably because the brand doesn’t plan to launch a women’s underthings line anytime soon and because dudes are into naked chicks. So I’m told.

Meanwhile, the line of briefs and boxer briefs — ranging from $28 to $34 — will hit about 100 Nordstrom and Blommingdale’s department stores by the end of the month with Neiman Marcus being added for the holidays. Talk about a stocking stuffer! I’m here all night, kids. [WWD]

Hurricane How-To In a Fashion Emergency

Holy crap. There’s a hurricane coming. As city-dwellers who have no idea what to do when a natural disaster occurs (i.e. the other day when New Yorkers poured into the streets during the earthquake), we’ve compiled a short list of what a hurricane is and what you should do to safely, and stylishly, prepare for disaster. Here we go…

What is a hurricane? Basically it is a tropical cyclone with crazy intense rain and winds that blow around in a circle. The winds can blast off roofs hundreds of miles inland, form tornadoes, and cause massive flooding and power outages.

How do most people die? Off the coast, huge domes of water called “storm surges” form from the storm, and the heavy water crashing down destroys everything in its path. 90% of people killed in hurricanes are victims of storm surges. What does this mean? CANCEL YOUR TRIP TO THE HAMPTONS OR JERSEY SHORE.

What are your survival kit necessites? The standard “emergency go bag” needs to have at least 3 days worth of supplies. The checklist includes a battery-powered radio, cash, credit cards, flashlights, candles, matches, extra batteries, first aid kit, blanket, food, water, and clothing. We are obviously most concerned with the clothing aspect so here are our picks on what you will need.

The daughter of clinical scientists, Lindsey Degen has developed the rebellious whim to design anatomically comical pieces. Like her oversized knits she’s shown at group art shows while working in knitwear at VPL, in which she uses pom-poms on nipple flaps and has a “third leg”. For her lingerie collection, Degen, launching in September, she has taken to using knits in tamer proportions. Though still cheeky – like the cutout for “crack action” at the bootie, she projects “I didn’t want the collection to be that wearable.” See for yourself. How To Wear Appropriate Undergarments With Spring Clothing

It’s hard to imagine worrying about wearing the proper undergarments on a cold day like this one – I could wear a bullet proof vest under my outfit and no one would notice. But spring is on the horizon, meaning lighter, thinner, sheerer clothing. There is nothing less fabulous than wearing inappropriate undergarments with your new spring wardrobe. Click through for a how-to on finding and wearing the proper undergarments so you don’t look a mess come pleasant temperatures.

1. Nude is a no-show. White undergarments do not disappear under white garments, so get the idea out of your head. Unless you’re going for the whole “look at my underwear” thing and are positive you can pull it off, wear nude undergarments when you see color is showing through your clothes. Chantelle Icone T-Shirt Bra in Skin combines comfort, style and function. As for underwear, Commando Low-Rise Girl Shorts in True Nude and Hanky Panky Lace Thong in Nude are both excellent options.

2. If show-through is your thing, keep it one color. The sheer trend is big, especially when letting your undergarments show through a dress. I am all about it and ready to partake come summer, but don’t channel the rainbow. Stick with one color, or block of colors, for both your bra and panties. 3. Smooth with a slip. Gone are the days when women wore slips under everything, which isn’t a bad thing per se. As far as convertible options go, Donna Karan Luxe Solutions Halter Bra, Natori Body Options Convertible Bra and Huit Cupcake Bandeau Bra are some of the best. If a plain ‘ole strapless is what you’re looking for, the Calvin Klein Ivory Customized Lift Strapless Bra and Simone Perele Velia Plunge Strapless Bra are both great options.

Like This Is the Worst Thing That’s Happened in a Brooklyn Library

“Brooklyn Law School officials rented Diesel its library expecting a tasteful photo shoot for a jeans ad…” You know, for a law school, you would have thought they would have done their research. Let’s take a look at some of Diesel’s more tasteful ad campaigns, shall we?

Interim Dean, Michael Gerber soiled his diaper when he shot off an email claiming to be “shocked and mortified as you must be by these photographs.” He was apparently misled by those tricky, fast-talking Diesel people who assured him that “the photos would be in good taste.”

Refresh my drink, but aren’t lawyers the ones who are supposed to do the misleading? Sounds like some Interim Dean got schooled.

But Gerber’s story doesn’t quite hold up. BLS’s events director, Chris Gibbons was present at the shoot mind you. And a quick Google search for Diesel ads would have turned up these paragons of virtue:

Closing argument: Brooklyn Law School got a bunch of money to allow Diesel to shoot there, but then changed their tune once the ad campaign debuted. BLS basically just gave a lesson on how to execute a bait and switch. And I hope everyone was paying attention because there will be a pop quiz.

Russian supermodel Irina Shayk, the rumored girlfriend of Cristiano Ronaldo, stars in the A|X Armani Exchange Summer 2010 swimwear campaign. Armani has also recently launched the A|X Stylepad, a new interactive digital platform that shows videos, where users will be able to create their own A|X ad campaign. Cristiano Ronaldo has been featured in new ads of the Spring/Summer 2011 campaigns for Emporio Armani Men’s Underwear and Armani Jeans.

Ormai avevo preso gusto a vedere Joseph Sayers completamente nudo (per chi se lo fosse perso, basta dare un’occhiata qui e qui). Tuttavia, non mi lamento di certo nel vederlo in versione costume-da-bagno per il catalogo online di Rufskin.

Gli Dei greci me li immagino un po’ tutti così…

Joseph è talmente gnocco che riesce a rendere passabile anche un costume orribile come quello qui sotto.

Apprezzo molto il filo di peli in mezzo all’addominale. Indicano la strada.

Chiudo con un costume bianco. Forse il più decente visto finora.

Chissà se in acqua fa l’effetto trasparenza. Non che ci sia tanto da svelare, dopotutto…
