Stealing the show, Unnur Fridriksdottir has emerged with specific goals in mind. Creating the Unnur label in 2006, the designer has created a variety of products for the fashion forward woman. The works are a product of distinct innovation and the right eye to mend elegance and charm. Threading the works at her fingertips, Unnur has not restricted herself to just a specific type of design. The label produces clothing, bags, and various other accessories, allowing each consumer to pick up a fully-accessorized outfit! Though the designer’s pieces have many stand-out characteristics, the most famous is the material used. What’s the mystery material? It’s sea-leather, and Unnur is adamant about the fact that it will “contribute to sustainable fashion.” The bags and accessories made from the material are truly marvelous.
