Few fantasies seem more fun than slow motion running through a palace in couture to Depeche Mode‘s “Enjoy the Silence”.  At least that’s what the house of Dior thought when they filmed models Daria Strokous, Melissa Stasiuk, and Xiao Wen Ju traipsing through the gilded halls of Versailles wearing Christian Dior pre-fall 2012. Dior Reveals Secret Tomorrow

As if Dior hasn’t teased us enough in the past year, keeping us wondering for 13 months who’d fill John Galliano‘s Creative Directorial heels (thank you, Raf Simons), we’re now faced with another teaser. The newest Dior film, Secret Garden – Versailles, flashes Daria Strokous, Melissa Stasiuk and Xiao Wen Ju in Marie Antoinette’s playground, in slightly scandalous exposure. The full film drops tomorrow, and sticking with their newfound knack for keeping directors hush hush, we won’t know who directed this film until it launches on Dior.com, May 3rd, 2012.

Karl Lagerfeld to Host Photo Exhibit at Versailles

From WWD, “Karl Lagerfeld is heading to Versailles next month, but for a photo, not a fashion show. The peripatetic designer is exhibiting 40 large-scale black-and-white photos he took of the legendary French chateau in the apartments of Madame de Maintenon. The display opens to the public June 10 and runs through Sept. 7.”

Too bad we were just there two months ago, well with this and the invite to the Louis Vuitton Factory I think I might just be booking a ticket back to the city of lights.
