When asked by the Barbican, London, to mount a retrospective of their work, Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren did the most unpredictable thing. Instead of pulling out all their old clothes, they went home to Amsterdam and set about meticulously remaking all their landmark collections in miniature on 2ft-high dolls. When the show opens on June 18 it will be like stepping into a giant doll’s house. Little girls are guaranteed to run riot with delight through it; grown-ups are likely to smile in wonderment – while also catching themselves thinking, isn’t this a bit weird?

Fashionista just pointed out that designer Erin Kleinberg ripped of Victor and Rolf’s Fall 2008 ‘NO’ T-Shirt. I wonder if she did the t-shirt cuz the other pieces (below) are almost impossible to replicate? What do you guys think, “adventures in copywriting” (as Fashionista calls it) or just plain stealing?
