Marc Jacobs returns to South Park, but this time not as “Muscle Man Marc.” The designer has collaborated with Trey Parker and Matt Stone to create three T-shirts featuring Eric Cartman, Butters Stotch and Randy Marsh to benefit The Interdisciplinary Melanoma Cooperative Group at New York University. Stripped to their cartoon bones with only the charity’s slogan – ”Protect Your Largest Organ” — providing any coverage, it’s clear to see why Cartman is always so…tee’d off.

The alleged sexiness of her previous ads notwithstanding, Rihanna returns for a steamy roll in the proverbial hay with Armani. Thankfully gone is that cheap Victoria Beckham-esque wig as RiRi opts for a more natural (one assumes it’s natural-ish, anyway) do and sultry rather than sleezy posturing.

‘Twas one hell of a year for fashion, 2011.  Alexander McQueen triumphed this year thanks to a pair of well-documented dresses and a bona fide cultural phenomenon at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Christian Dior tried to rebound from a potential PR nightmare, to varying degrees of success. Diffusion lines easily out-shined their designer homes.  An editrix reinvented herself amidst a sea of rumors without losing a beat.  And underaged fashionistas grew up in front of our very eyes. In a rare, and unstaged, show of emotion — public or otherwise — Victoria Beckham wiped away a tear as she collected her award for Designer Brand at the 2011 British Fashion Awards. Thanking her husband and 13 children, Beckham beat out industry vets Tom Ford, Burberry and Stella McCartney – who still managed to win the Red Carpet award – to snatch her first BFA trophy. Alexander McQueen’s Sarah Burton was awarded the Designer of the Year award while Christopher Kane beat out Erdem and Jonathan Saunders to take home the inaugural New Establishment prize, which recognizes “a particular movement in British fashion that is taking the industry by storm.” Gallery and list of the winners follows after the jump.
