Victoria’s Secret has named Emanuela de Paula, Lindsay Ellingson, Candice Swanepoel, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Chanel Iman as their newest Angels.

Victoria’s Secret is revving up for their big holiday show, and one of their major new products that they are pushing (no pun intended) is their new “Miraculous Push-up”. Clearly I’m not too concerned about the push-up bra , but there is something more that I have been noticing about the brand. Victoria’s Secret has recently become pretty notorious for taking up and coming artists to the next level. Last year it was The Ting Tings, whose song was a huge hit during the runway show. This year it seems that they chose Make The Girl Dance, as their song “Baby Baby Baby” is the one that you’ll find seared into your brain after watching the commercial. I guess we’ll have to wait until the show to see what happens.

Project Runway and Victoria’s Secret model Heidi Klum spoke to the Huffigton Post about her pregnancy, weight loss, and what she’s wearing:

On losing pregnancy weight in time for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show:

“I’ve never really had any special girdle machines or anything like that,” she said. “For me, it’s, you know, really healthy foods, exercising, playing with the children, going to the park. Normal things.”

On having to lose that weight:

“I never really put a lot of pressure on myself, but for me personally, I feel like it is always better to get into shape immediately. I feel like if I drag it out too long, I’m not going to do it,” she said. “So for me it works to kind of get back into shape, afterwards, I feel great. I can put my normal clothes back on and it makes me happy, and it’s worked so far.”

On style:

“Don’t ask me what’s fashionable right now. I’m happy I can find something I can fit in,” she said with a laugh. “I try to go off the beaten track and find things that aren’t maternity lines … I try to find things that are a little more fun and not so basic, since I do a show about fashion.  Lately I’ve been buying a lot of things at flea markets,” she said. “I would buy big earrings, big necklaces, chunky things, big bracelets and stuff like that.”

Expanding on Juicy’s loungewear empire that started with tracksuits, the Juicy Couture Intimate Apparel collection is basic sleepwear and underwear.  Really basic.  Like, boring-basic.  The line is full of nightgowns, screened tees and camisoles, pajama pants, undies, and robes, in springy, girly colors.

The line is surprisingly innocuous and a lazy attempt at ripping off the Victoria Secret’s Pink brand. Gotta get those teenage buyers!

And in celebration of this brand expansion, this June in Las Vegas, Juicy Couture will open House of Juicy, the brand’s first intimate apparel-only store.

Retail prices range from $14 for panties to $125 for robes.

Victoria’s Secret has made a deal with Christian Siriano for the creation of a limited edition line of cosmetics set to debut this fall. The Christian Siriano for VS Makeup Collection is the latest addition to the lingerie giant’s Very Sexy color line.

According to a press statement released by Victoria’s Secret on Friday, the collection includes five shades of eye shadow, each $14; black eyeliner $12; three lip gloss shades, each $14; a bronzer-highlighter trio, $24; a face brush, $32, and a ruffled cosmetics bag, $16. Siriano’s items will be packaged in gold compacts with the Christian Siriano for VS Makeup logo engraved on top.

Unfortunately, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show has become so cliche and cookie cutter that there are rarely any huge highlights for me anymore. Don’t get me wrong the show is amazing and more or less flawless every year, but where has all the excitement gone? There was one part of the show that had me on the edge of my seat getting into the show, and that was the Pink collection shown above. This part of the fashion show actually featured some cool fashions. The standard bra and panties are getting a bit old, only because there isn’t really any versatility in the looks. The Pink collection featured cool pieces, fresh new models (who have to do a good job or they’ll get deported), and a great up and coming feel. The massive scarf shown in the video was my favorite part of the show (besides Miranda Kerr of course). I am starting my search for it today. The scarf was huge, and now that I think about it, it was almost on the verge of being deemed a blanket. So any Victoria’s Secret personel out their who may, by some divine miracle, read this, less cookie cutter formalities, more exciting stuff like the Pink collection. Oh and if you could get me a date with Miranda Kerr that would be great too!

The Angels won't be smiling for long...

Got a little unknown rash around the chestal region? Wake up to boobage scars that weren’t there the night before? Have hives on your tatas and you’re sure you weren’t stung by a bee? Don’t jump to conclusions, you’re probably not growing a third nipple. But if you wear Victoria’s Secret bras, you could be having an allergic reaction to a chemical in the bra.

Ask Roberta Ritter, an avid wearer of Vicky’s bras, who sued the company in May: ”I had the welts … very red, hot to the touch, extremely inflamed, blistery. It itched profusely … I couldn’t sleep, waking up itching. I was just utterly sick.” Um, ouch.

Ritter’s lawyers did some tests on the bras and found that they contain formaldehyde…you know, the poignant smelling chemical that preserved Kermit the Frog before you decided it would be funny to cut his head off in high school biology. Ok, so there’s some sort of embalming liquid the bras…that’s not how to preserve your melons!

Victoria’s Secret refuses the allegations and claims to have strict quality control. Despite the women who demand reimbursement for medical treatment and suffering, the case will not be continued until more evidence is found. Isn’t the bleeding, blistery gash on my left boob enough evidence?

My favorite Victoria’s Secret Angels, Miranda Kerr (my favorite), Marisa Miller and Heidi Klum (Don’t really like her), stopped in for a fitting for the big show. The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is being taped on November 15th in Miami, and will air closer to the Holiday season. I must say the lingerie looks exactly the same to me every year, but it really doesn’t matter to me, I could get used to seeing Miranda Kerr in her underwear.
