And the French get the final say. Paris Fashion Week has drawn to a close and we’ve sifted the runways for the trends that will affect your wardrobe come September, or sooner. Designers have squared off, whited out, and swept their competition. Karl Lagerfeld and Marc Jacobs were on some similar wavelengths for the new silhouette of Chanel and Louis Vuitton. Ann Demeulemeester and Gareth Pugh finally got coordinating dragon tattoos. Meanwhile, the leg bomber strikes again and we’re still highlighting the hot outline. Now, follow the bell hop to the trends of Fall 2012.

I know you’re exhausted from getting me all these presents all week, so tonight on the second to last night of Chanukah, you’d like to douse le perfume? That’s fine by me, I suppose it is the thought that counts. If you’re gonna get me a fragrance though, please make it Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb. It’s, well, the bomb. Super sensual yet with this explosive edge – it has me obsessed.

For their new men’s fragrance, the design duo of Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren – other wise known as Viktor & Rolf — decided to spice things up a bit. “We felt that if flowers were a very typical feminine scent, spices were the masculine opposite,” Snoeren told WWD, referring to their hit women’s scent Flowerbomb. And thus they begat Spicebomb .

I am a huge fan of Viktor & Rolf because the know how to really dress a man. Singer, La Roux, opened the show in a well fitted Viktor & Rolf outfit. The collection is full of muted colors mixed with a chic geek twist.

Viktor and Rolf are two of my favorite menswear designers. They just know how to dress a man impeccably. Their latest runway presentation is an ode to geek chic. It also make me miss my black framed Ray-Bans I lost last month. To see the see all the pictures go to this gallery on ENVY.

At a recent Viktor and Rolf show in Miami it seems that people were more focused on the menswear the two designers were wearing, rather than the elaborate dresses they had on display.

“Our last collection, entitled “No,” was a primal reaction to the ever-increasing pace of fashion. While working on the collection, the word “no” just kept popping up. We believe that it is quite sexy to say “no,” so we decided to acknowledge our feelings and use them creatively.”
This is exactly what we have been talking about for a while; sometimes you just have to say ‘no!’
