New York already cut it out, but now Paris is playing this game too. The game is Peek-a-Boo and the goal is to show enough without showing everything. These are little slits that come in slight shapes, some veiled, some open straight to skin. These open slivers are the sexiest pseudo-exhibitionist cuts to come off of the Paris runway.

The fashion show has evolved from its earliest incarnations in the salons of department stores into the opulent, theatrical, exorbitant circuses they are now. Along with its commercial peak, fashion shows have also reached their creative peaks – moving, visceral, dramatic productions that have elevated them into an art form. Alexander McQueen emerged as the true master of the genre, blending the disparate elements of entertainment and ideology while creating beautiful works of clothing that could stand on their own without the hype and hoopla with which he was so famously associated.
