Kristen McMenamy wanders about looking lost but impossibly beautiful in Alexander McQueen’s wondrous spring 2012 collection for AnOther Magazine.

- Lil Wayne launched a T-shirt line called Trukfit, which is short for “The Reason You Kill For It.” When asked to describe the name in two words, Weezy responded: “‘Un…Usual,’ he said with a grin that broke into a croaky laugh. ‘That’s one word.’” [WWD]

- Halle Berry has decided to earn her diva stripes by walking down the aisle a third time. The Oscar-winner is engaged to fellow gorgeous person Olivier Martinez. [Us]

The designers employed trusted nose Olivier  Polge, the perfumer behind Flowerbomb, to concoct its masculine equivalent. Polge conceived an “addictive” but “explosive” juice , where the addictive was fiery and the explosive icy. The former consists of notes of chili, saffron, leather, tobacco, and vetiver while the latter has notes of bergamot, grapefruit, elemi, and pink pepper.

Going full tilt with the whole bomb theme, the bottle is in the shape of a grenade while the in-store displays will resemble the aftermath of an explosion — featuring what Viktor & Rolf’s general manager refers to as “exploding shelves.” Gripping the grenade pin in his teeth in the fragrance’s forthcoming ad campaign is top model Sean O’Pry, photographed by another dynamic duo, Inez and Vinoodh.

Spicebomb goes on sale statewide March 1 with a price-tag between $75 and $95. [WWD]

- Lanvin‘s Alber Elbaz continues to be the most adorable thing this side of…well, these Lanvin dolls. In a talk he gave over this weekend, Alber explained why he just says no: “I don’t take drugs because if I did I’d love them – I’d be a junkie. Lilo, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, Casey Anthony. Court has been on the mind as of late, and not always in the most glamorous of ways. Not to worry, fashionistas! Donna Karan is here to soothe your high-heel-induced migraines (ahem, Michelle Bachman) and your sense of propriety with these amazing new images from her Fall/Winter 2011 campaign. The decidedly gray palette understatedly emphasizes the luxurious shapes and fabrics of the collection, and Isabeli Fontana‘s lawyer face makes me want to immediately take out student loans to go to law school (and to buy all of these clothes).

The campaign was shot by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, with creative director Trey Laird and stylist Nicoletta Santoro. Ruling: guilty of major fabulousness. Check out the images below and decide for yourself.

- Jennifer Lopez will be on HSN this weekend, and while her team of handlers explain what an HSN is, J.Lo found her light and showed some gam for new fragrance Love & Light‘s ad campaign. [People]

– Professional stunner and sometime actress, Eva Mendes, on her new gig as the face of Thierry Mugler‘s 19 year old fragrance,  Angel.

The new campaign, conceived by Thierry Mugler himself, is expected to cost about $5 million over the next twelve months. This will include a film shot by British director Baillie Walsh, a significant digital campaign featuring a strong social  media component and print ads shot by genius duo, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, set to run in September.

Mendes, who has previously shilled for Revlon and is the current face of Pantene, replaces co-actress Naomi Watts as the Mugler Angel. For the TV commercial, shot in Prague, Eva displays her vocal chops on the classic “Windmills of Your Mind.”

The tough-talking, one-upping, bodacious, curvaceous Nicki Minaj is taking music to places cooler and more colorful than ever. And in the boys’ club of the 21st-century hip hop, she’s stolen every scene to become the genre’s Barbie-pink princess. Secretly, though, she’s gunning for queen.

“Everything I do has been approved by me personally,” Minaj told V Magazine. “My team is mostly made up of guys, but none of them would ever think about telling me what to wear or what to do with my hair. They know that ultimately I’m gonna do what I’m gonna do.”

You go girl! Remind that team who’s boss.

Inez explains that she and Vinoodh were “fascinated with the different realities going on in one shoot and so the music, the animation, Kate’s movements and the camera angle represent these layers of perception.”

This story reminds me of a joke I once heard about two horses crossing the street; of course in that joke, both of them were wearing jumpsuits and it ended in a glue factory. I recall a frantic phone call back in March when a good friend of mine called to tell me he had just bumped into Daria Werbowy near St. Mark’s. Completely in awe by her beauty, he was definitely at a loss of words, a speechlessness Vogue is certainly aiming for by using Werbowy as the only editorial model in their August 2009 issue. The same “one and only” model ploy was used with Lara Stone back in February, and I must agree, that was one of their better publications. Photographed by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, Werbowy is going to look stunning as ever…looking forward to sharing the spreads with you!

Visionaire 55 Solar, the new photograpy book, features photos from Mario Sorrenti, Yoko Ono, Ryan McGinley, and Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin. The pages are stark and white, while the images are rendered in black and white, but when you take the book outside in direct sunlight, everything comes to life…in every hue of the rainbow.

Summer is all about road tripping, but that doesn’t mean your whole uniform has to be cut-offs and a beater. The very 80s silhouette of Balmain’s drummer boy coat is the perfect contradiction to the Western-like roadside diner in the background. Shot by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, this photo grabs my attention immediately. Daria Werbowy’s hard pose doesn’t distract attention away from the scene, but rather intensifies the look and feel of a deserted country road. I’m not a huge fan of the ripped, dirty jeans, but they look fantastic here with stilettos and the structured jacket. I’ll have to keep this in mind the next time I’m packing for a long weekend.
