I know I say this a lot, but really, this is the coolest spread I’ve ever seen! The creatives at Flamboyant Magazine shot a variety of breads painted with different designer staple patterns for “The Hate Issue.” Despite the many phallic shaped breads, this is quite the clever way to market the many labels, from Burberry to Vivienne Westwood,  featured in this spread!

Vivienne Westwood’s genius probably does not have to be mentioned, yet she proves to the fashion world time and time again that she deserves to be noticed, recognized, and remembered. Her S/S 2010 collection does just that, awes the audience and imprints into the mind the name that is Westwood.

London fashion week, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, begins today.

Celebrating her worldwide partners, Vivienne Westwood is releasing a series of collectable, silver  finish stamp pendants. Representing cities from Milan to Tokyo, 300 pendants will be produced and available in the cities they feature until the limited edition collection sells out. Totally loving the unique graphics and the layered pendant look. Cross your fingers these pendants land in New York!

Enfant terrible son of Dame Vivienne Westwood, Ben Westwood, is creating an American version of his Spawn: Bound exhibition which will open in New York in September 2009. Subjects will include Paris Hilton, Liv Tyler, Gwyenth Paltrow and Kate Hudson, “all ?bound by the umbilical cord of their parents fame”,? says Ben.

The British version of Spawn:Bound is currently showing at the Bodhi Gallery, 214 Brick Lane in London until the 10th June where his subjects include Sting?s daughter Coco Sumner, Rod Stewart?s daughter Kimberly Stewart, Sir Paul McCartney?s daughter Stella McCartney and Sir Mick Jagger?s offspring Jade & Elizabeth Jagger etc.

Finally some art I actually care about. Wonder if he’s working on all celebrity spawn in the US. Nicole Richie and Miley Cyrus definitely need to be bound.

The Viv Westwood penknife is finished in green imitation rhodium, features a nail file, scissors, tweezers, toothpick, keyring, and a signature Viv orb charm and retails for 424$US. A bit much, don’t ya think!?!

It’s hard to believe that L.A.M.B., Gwen Stefani’s line with her stylist, Andrea Lieberman, and designer Zaldy Gogo,  is in its fifth year already.

But it’s still going strong, dressing Gwen for tours and music videos, and outfitting fans with clothes and accessories.   And staying true to form, L.A.M.B’s Fall/Winter 2009/2010 is unabashedly Vivienne Westwood-inspired, and in line with Gwen’s off-stage image.

Full of leather, plaid, fitted jackets, and oversize collars, the collection has just enough of a rock n roll flavor to keep it from being costumey.

Flamboyant designer Manish Arora has produced a vibrant range of six Swatch watches which are now on sale. He follows the likes of Christian Lacroix and Vivienne Westwood in designing for Swatch.

The Manish Arora collection for Swatch is on sale exclusively at Selfridges and Swatch stores now and will be on sale from 1st of June at selected retailers around the UK.

Back in  1975, William English needed a portfolio as part of his application to National Film School and the Royal College. He ended up in Sex and shot this  pixied model before a severed leg and later wearing a transparent rubber suit.

The most expensive city in the world, Moscow has seen a downgrade in its available fashions. Once a home to all big luxury retailers, the time has come for many to move on.

Designers are closing their Russian outposts and retreating from Moscow after months of disappointing sales, with Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood among those forced to pull down the shutters. This includes other Euorpean designers such as Dior and Chanel.

Vivienne Westwood has teamed up her Anglomania line with Melissa Shoes for a Spring/Summer 2009 collection.

The plastic shoes, which look durable, fun, and summery, will retail for about $110-150.
