It’s a multi-national, mutli-continent affair in Vogue Australia‘s December issue as photographer Max Doyle, stylist Naomi Smith, actress Isabel Lucas and model Katie Fogarty pack up for the African frontier.

Cover girl Lucas plays the fair-haired, fair-skinned outsider, finding sophistication in the wilderness with looks from Bottega Veneta, Marni, Tommy Hilfiger, Miu Miu, Chanel and Louis Vuitton. Meanwhile Fogarty is immersed in tribal prints and the occasional headwrap from the runways of Burberry, Balenciaga, Pucci, Diane von Furstenberg, Giorgio Armani and Maison Martin Margiela.

Myf Shepherd Returns to Modeling With a Vogue Australia Spread

After taking a year off from modeling to study set design in Sydney, Myf Shepherd is back in front of the camera. Her latest spread will appear in the February 2011 issue of Vogue Australia.

“I was too young when I started,” 19-year-old Shepherd recently told The Daily Telegraph. “I wasn’t really ready for how competitive and everything the real world is, so I just needed to take some time to be a regular teenager.”

Myf Shepherd (who was also on Aussie Vogue this month) played a geisha girl for Sofia Sanchez and Mauro Mongiello. The first photo is amazing, I think Shepherd is totally gorgeous, and I love the jewels in her hair. Her face is a bit dead in the rest of the pictures, but maybe she’s supposed to be looking like a doll?
