COVER STORY: Isabeli Fontana For Vogue Brasil

COVER STORY: Isabeli Fontana For Vogue Brasil magazines

I love this cover, the bright colored feathers as a mohawk hairpiece looks so awesome, and Fontana’s eyes look amazing.  I’m really excited to see her spread in the magazine, because if it’s styled anything like the cover, it’s going to be wicked.

SPREAD UM: “Iguatemi” Vogue Brasil April 2009

SPREAD UM: Iguatemi Vogue Brasil April 2009 magazinesBelieve it or not, while browsing this spread, Amy Winehouse’s “Back To Black” shuffled its way onto my iTunes. Although Ironic and cliche, the song, in combination with the spread, just reaffirmed that black is A-ok for the spring. The editorial, shot by Jacques Dequeker featuring model Isabeli Fontana, really shows off the textures and shapes of these fierce black pieces. The spread itself isn’t anything groundbreaking, but the clothes, oh, the clothes. Forget my attempt at brightening it up this spring…bring on the black!
