The luscious feather ruff collar stands at our attention while a smoked eye smolders around her piercing stare. A nude lip, just a touch less tan than the rest of her, pouts as if to say, I’m clearly no stranger to the cover of Vogue. The jewels glitzing beneath the feathers’ arch are nearly lost due to the impact of the Lima look. 

Adriana Lima is Smoking Hot on the Cover of Vogue Brasil

Though for a cover that boasts and toasts the end of minimalism, her makeup is awfully minimal. Sure the collar is over the top, and Adriana Lima needs little to nothing on her face to make her stun, but if we’re talking “Maximum Effect”, than Vogue Brasil, perhaps you should have maximized.

I love this cover, the bright colored feathers as a mohawk hairpiece looks so awesome, and Fontana’s eyes look amazing.  I’m really excited to see her spread in the magazine, because if it’s styled anything like the cover, it’s going to be wicked.

Although Ironic and cliche, the song, in combination with the spread, just reaffirmed that black is A-ok for the spring. The editorial, shot by Jacques Dequeker featuring model Isabeli Fontana, really shows off the textures and shapes of these fierce black pieces. The spread itself isn’t anything groundbreaking, but the clothes, oh, the clothes. Forget my attempt at brightening it up this spring…bring on the black!
