They want Warner Bros. to not only give them a share of the profits that the movie made, but also to go back and alter the luggage in the DVD version to look like the real thing.  I would normally say this seems pretty ridiculous, but the production house did just give in to another lawsuit by Mike Tyson‘s tattoo artist for using a fake version of the tattoo in the sequel.  They paid him a settlement and altered the tattoo in the DVD for quality assurance, a similar request on a smaller scale.  We’ll keep you posted with the details as the suit moves on.

On her professional relationship with Harry Potter co-star Daniel Radcliffe: “He understood what his role was, not just as an actor but as the leading man in this enormous franchise,” Watson said. “And I think that was almost more important in a way. He held it all together. I am very grateful for him.”

On getting an education during filming: “I have felt for the last ten years I have had this battle; I’ve been fighting so hard to have an education, she said. “It’s been this uphill struggle. I was Warner Bros.’ pain in the butt. I was their scheduling conflict. I was the one who made life difficult.”

About taking on new roles in film: “Hermione is so close to who I am as a person that I’ve never really had to research a role,” she says. “I’m literally rediscovering what it means to be an actress.”

Work on a Superman reboot is currently underway at Warner Bros, and while producer Christopher Nolan is still looking for a director, they’re also thinking casting. In particular they have someone in mind for Lois Lane: Natalie Portman.

Apparently Warner Bros. wanted her for the part back when they were making Superman Returns but couldn’t get her and eventually went with Kate Bosworth instead. I’m an unabashed fan of Superman Returns and while I can’t imagine anyone other than Brandon Routh playing the character of Supes, yeah, we can live without Bosworth. She never really captured the spitfire, take no prisoners style of Lois. That’s something that Portman can bring in spades.

The rumor of her possible involvement comes from the generally reliable reporters at Moviehole where they say the can get her for the part, but only if Darren Aronofsky ends up directing the film. Portman has been getting rave reviews for her role in the upcoming Aronofsky film Black Swan so it makes sense that she’d be willing to follow Aronofsky wherever he goes and that Aronofsky might want to bring her with him. Unfortunately Darren’s name is just one of several on the list of directors being considered to direct Superman: If At First You Don’t Succeed. No Aronofsky, no Natalie Portman as Lois Lane.
