Heels on Wheels: The Styleliner Mobile Boutique Drives On

There is currently a truck en route to Park City, Utah. It’s going to delight the Sundance Film Festival crowd with it’s contents: designer and artisan jewelry and accessories. And a handful of fabulous furs. Though this truck once used to be a potato chip delivery vehicle, Joey Wolffer tricked it out into The Styleliner, a mobile boutique that is spreading good looks around the nation. We dropped in on the day they disembarked from Meatpacking to talk to Joey and get a good look inside. Here’s what we found.

Every month, they offer swimwear to the budding shutterbugs for an opportunity to shoot the collection their own way. The latest photographer to participate in the project is the talented Natasha Horinkova, and her beautiful photos have been released exclusively to FashionIndie. Memorial Day in the City: What to Do if You’re Stuck Here?

If you’re like me (who is moving this week and has TONS of packing left to do) and are stuck in New York City for Memorial Day, how can you get a piece of the summer sun while roaming this urban jungle? Central Park is an option as is the Gansevoort rooftop pool, but it’s difficult to shake the feeling of wanting sand between your toes. Luckily we’re still on the coast, and plenty of beach options are a quick train ride away. If you’ve never been to Rockaway Beach, this is the weekend to go.
