I love that LeAnn has the balls to wear a dress with this many cutouts to her friends and family wedding brunch. But her body looks amazing and she seems very happy and confident. She would get kicked out of Westminster Abbey for this look, but it’s not too shabby for Malibu.

The David Yurman Bridal Collection Jump Started My Biological Clock

I’ve never been much for marriage. Aside from the fact that I’m legally not allowed to marry in 45 of 50 states, the entire practice just seemed like the willful destruction of yours and someone else’s lives. But David Yurman’s Bridal Collection has me rethinking my stance, mostly because a wedding means an engagement ring and nothing inspires love like diamonds. Ladies, am I right?

Over champagne and macaroons, I perused the debut of the David Yurman Bridal Collection at the David Yurman Townhouse on 63rd and Madison. In other words, I was ballin’.

Hard.

After years of high consumer demand followed by years of research, David Yurman is finally ready to take you down the aisle. The collection was designed by David’s son, Evan who especially wanted to bring “DY’s unique style and identity to a very traditional arena.”

Out of the 18 diamond engagement rings, wedding bands, and romantic jewelry, the star of this new venture is the David Yurman Signature Cut Diamond™ (when there’s a “™” involved, you know it’s serious) — a spectacularly brilliant, perfectly proportioned, ‘hearts and arrows’, cushion-cut diamond that’s available in all of the ring styles.

Three flutes of champagne and one macaroon later (I’m on a liquid diet…the main liquid being alcohol), I stumbled out of the DY Townhouse, blinded by the bling and dreaming of my future faceless husband slipping a 3.5 carat (a demure size, I think) David Yurman Signature Cut Diamond™ onto my large, mannish finger.

On second thought, maybe I should aim for more carats to maximize the delicacy of my hands. But I’m putting the carat before the horse. I guess I should work on acquiring the fiancé first…any takers?

If You Like It Than You Better Put David Tutera on It

Celebrity wedding planner and host of WE tv‘s My Fair Wedding, David Tutera has launched a collection of engagement rings and wedding bands available exclusively at Sears, just in time for Valentine’s Day. The collection will feature four designs, Eternal, Heirloom, Radiance and Legacy. I, however, would like to request a fifth design for me in particular; Unnecessarily Opulent, using only blood diamonds and the tears of orphans. David, can you hear me?

According to Sears, each ring has a genuine blue sapphire on the inside of the band with details symbolizing such foreign concepts as love and loyalty.

Tutera said of his collection:

“Your wedding story begins with choosing the perfect engagement ring. Just like a couple’s love story, each ring design is completely unique.”

My wedding story usually begins with a trip to Vegas, too many cocktails, a blackout, several bad decisions and an Elvis impersonator officiating at a tacky altar, but luckily someone still believes in romance.

I’ve been browsing for a dress to wear to a wedding in July (I know I have time, but I like to think ahead), and a lot of options out there seem like the same old, same old. A lot of you out there might have a similar event coming up. This dress by Myne has interesting and flattering cut-outs and a really adorable print.

Plus, the wodden platform sandals I bought recently would look amazing with something like this. Plus, it’s a dress you could dress up or down and wear again and again.

Sneak Preview: Weddings on Gossip Girl

As you can see a couple of our most beloved characters are sporting some pretty high-fashion outfits especially for the television event.

It is floral all the way at this GG wedding, with Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) looking spectacular in a Ralph Lauren yellow tiered halter neck from the designer’s spring 2008 collection. She has even continued the black gloves from the catwalk show for that extra special glamorous touch.

Looking equally glam is Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) in a pink halter neck bubble dress by Australian designer Collette Dinnigan. In typical Blair style, the Queen Bee of GG matches her outfit with pink accessories, not forgetting her signature headband.

The wedding season finale was filmed yesterday on location in New York. In other GG goss, it is rumoured that Lisa Loeb might actually perform on the show… how bizarre!
