In The Case of Sixth Season Project Runway, Lifetime…You ARE the Father!

Edited by

In The Case of Sixth Season Project Runway, Lifetime...You ARE the Father! The paternity test results are in, and after much suing, bickering and threatening, Project Runway Season Six has a daddy. Just about a year ago, NBC sued the Weinstein Company for selling Project Runway to Lifetime, failing to give the network the right to refusal first. Today, NBC Universal released a statement saying that the Weinstein Company will pay NBC to move the series to Lifetime. The little soap opera between Weinstein and Jeff Zucker can be laid to rest, finally airing the season that so many designers worked hard for. I look forward to some fashion drama followed by cheesy teenage pregnancy movies. Let’s just hope this season isn’t as crap-tastic as season five…sigh.

You Thought the Fued Would End; Might Want to Think Again

You Thought the Fued Would End; Might Want to Think Again

Well, I’ll be the first to admit I thought the lawsuit concerning Project Runway and NBC would be over before the air date was postponed; however, ‘m really not so sure anymore! It’s time we really started feeling sorry for these designers! These talented individuals have already finished wrapping up the season and it’s likely it won’t air for a year! Yes, that’s right. A year.

Though the lawsuit was primarily between NBC and Weinstein Company, Lifetime has felt it necessary to hop on in and get all up in their business! Further postponing the air date for season 6, Lifetime has voiced their desire for the case to move from state to federal courts on the account of matters concerning federal copyright law.

Let’s just hope they at least get to strut their stuff on the catwalks next February. Sounds ambitious, but you never know!
