It’s time to spike things up on your finger tips! It’s the easiest trick, we’re taking the ombre nail art trend to a different level. It only requires three different shades of your favorite nail polish colors, and a triangular makeup sponge. If you woke up on the wicked side of life today, try this futuristic fade with neon colors. Check out how FashionIndie’s mani came out after the jump, we used Bon Bon’s minature collection and Bikini from Pure Ice (sounds seductive, we know.)

You will need: One color in three different shades and a tiny piece of a makeup sponge.

The Montblanc Hills are Alive With the Sound of Kristin Chenoweth

On the sixth floor of Saks Fifth Avenue, Montblanc brought a limited edition writing instrument to light as Kristin Chenoweth brought every guest to a hush. To welcome the first ever white resin version of the iconic pen, along with a solid white collection that benefits the preservation of the Mont Blanc mountain range in the Swiss Alps, she made the hills come alive with the sound of her voice.

We caught up with Kristin Chenoweth after her tear-inducing performance.

What’s your favorite thing to wear right now?
Very comfortable clothes. I’m really into Proenza [Schouler] right now. I just wore a beautiful shift dress by Joie on Oprah two days ago.

Wow! What was that like being on Oprah?!
Crazy! My head’s not even… It’s still in a cloud. It was a very special moment in my life.

You are such a phenomenal talent. How does it feel to be on the stage?
Always on a stage of any kind is a blessing. Because I get so much from the audience and hopefully I can give back. It’s awesome.

Loving this white pocketed number. Who are you wearing tonight?
Theory! I’m all over the map. From Diane Von Furstenberg to Theory. I go anywhere that’s simple and looks good on me. That’s where I go.

Well she’s beautiful, it must not be very difficult.

The “Tribute to Mont Blanc” white collection will be available exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue in NYC until May 29th, with all proceeds going to conserve the mountain range.

So, How Did Wintour Do?

British soul singer Adele play her part and snagged the Grammy award for best new artist. So, how did Anna Wintour do styling her? Adele walked the red carpet in a custom made Barbara Tfank flared dress and a satin green jacket with tuxedoed Hamish Bowles. Wait…are we sure Wintour styled with Adele in mind or her own personal fashion taste? This looks exactly like something Wintour would wear! Either way, I think the whole look is a bit matronly. The jacket isn’t exactly flattering and the black/green color combo makes me wonder why Adele is on the red carpet and not the Broadway stage of Wicked. Well Wintour, you tried…and failed. Moral of the story: never try.
