- Ryan Murphy cast leading ladies from his two hit shows, American Horror Story and Glee – including Lea Michele, Dianna Agron and future Emmy-winner Naya Rivera – in an editorial homage to his favorite horror movies for Elle. -  French fashion chain La Redoute was apparently asleep at the wheel when it ok’d this image from its latest campaign featuring four adorable kids…and a naked man not-so discreetly (un)tucked into the background. - Mark Fisher, who produces the controversial shoes Derek Lam has accused Ivanka Trump of “blatantly” copying from him, “strongly denies Lam’s claims.” Fisher argues that Lam’s design “has been used by numerous manufacturers for many decades” and adds for good measure, ”There is nothing iconic about the appearance of the Lam sandal.” Calling a man’s wedge sandal not iconic? - Oooh-la-la…oh, no. No. French health authorities are recommending that 30,000 women who received potentially defective breast implants from a French company have them removed as a preventative measure. [NYT]

- Brittany Murphy‘s mother is claiming her daughter and son-in-law Simon Monjack were killed by toxic mold found in their Hollywood home. The mold apparently caused the pneumonia that killed both Murphy and Monjack and now Momma Murphy is taking legal action against her lawyers for mishandling her case against the construction company back in January. Now let’s talk about these ladies. You were not fly girl in the late 80′s and early 90′s if you didn’t model your style after Salt-N-Pepa. They completely revolutionized music by proving they were just as good as male MCs and could look damn good doing it. Not being afraid to embrace their sexuality, they paved the way for artist such as Nicki Minaj. (See below)

2. Outkast (Andre 3000)

Andre 3000 has 2 distinct styles: urban dandy & funk soul brother. He always look amazing regardless whatever he decides on. With a mix of his fashion sense and interesting flow he’s created some visually exciting videos.

3. Missy Elliot

Missy is all about a stunt and a show. Let’s be honest, that blowup jumpsuit was brilliant.

4. MC Hammer

I personally blame this man for the question that plagues me every day: Should I buy harem pants?

5. Nicki Minaj

Ms. Minaj is a modern day hip hop Barbie. She’s completely fearless when it comes to her appearance. (I can personally attest to that) She might be one of the only rappers who can wear a Dior haute couture dress and make it look bad ass and uber sexy.

6. Sean Combs (Diddy, P.Diddy, Puff Daddy)

Now whatever name he goes by the man still has unlimited swag. My favorite incarnation of this mogul was in his 90′s Puff Daddy phase when he was dancing around in shiny suits. (My mother refused to buy me one)

7. Run DMC

If anyone could make white Adidas and gold rope chains chic it would be these guys. Not only are they hip hop legends but  they will always be considered fashion icons.

8. Kanye West

It would be blasphemy if I didn’t include Kanye in this post. (Wouldn’t want him pulling another VMA style incident) Kanye went from super preppy, to super dandy, and now mega fashionisto. Whether he’s wearing designer sneakers or womens blouses you will notice him.

9. Cee Lo Green

If you don’t like Cee Lo’s style then he will probably give a big ” Eff You.” His costumes are truly wild. How many guys do you know can dress up like a bird from the muppets and still look cool?

10. The Fresh Prince (Will Smith)

Modern pop culture might tell you that Jaden & Willow Smith are coolest kids in town. This is true but people must remember that being cool is in their DNA. Before Will Smith was their daddy he was rocking the mic with is dope Philly style.

Girl is taking advantage of her parent’s deep pockets to explore her inner fashionista, and her efforts have not gone unnoticed.  Embracing the wild side of fashion, Willow’s outfits this year have been fueled by nothing less than an animalistic fervor.

Exhibit A (above): Willow in all her ten-year old glory, rocking ripped lime-green leggings and wild stripes in her hair as if she was born right into a punk, techno-color Lion King dream.

Leopard print is on the menu this summer, and we’re eating this next look up.

From her adorable round-lens sunglasses, cheetah print harem pants, right down to her dark brown riding boots, Willow looks about ready to go on a fashion safari.

Willow welcomed in the spring with something a little more polished than her wild former looks, but we love it just as much.

At the White House Easter Egg Roll, the Smith family has a little something for everyone. We’re particularly loving Willow’s matching plaid blazer and shorts with those lime green sneakers, plus Jada’s light pink top with high-waisted paper bag shorts is definitively casual chic.

Everyone and their post-partum depressed mother hovered on down to Chicago’s United Center for the filming of Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular — her two penultimate shows before the Apocalypse finale May 25th.

Oprah, through forced laughter: "Who the hell let you in here?"

Tom Hanks, noted maniac Tom Cruise, noted maniac Madonna, Dakota Fanning, Halle Berry, noted coma victim Katie Holmes, scissor sisters Queen Latifah and Rosie O’Donnell, the Pinkett-Smiths and BFFs Gayle King and Maria Shriver — who had a brave face put on for her last minute as her husband had just admitted that in addition to iron he was pumping the help — all showed up to “surprise” and pay tribute to their queen.

Sidebar: Oprah is omniscient, like all deities, so there was no pulling the wool over those bag-ridden eyes.

Surprise performers included Beyoncé (who had to perform “Run the World (Girls)” twice at the behest of producers), Patti LaBelle and Josh Groban (“Over the Rainbow”), Stevie Wonder and Jamie Foxx (“Isn’t She Lovely,” and Stevie even wrote a new song for Oprah that will no doubt be adopted as our national anthem), as well as Kristin Chenoweth, Alicia Keys, Usher and another queen in her own right, Aretha Franklin, who took everyone to church with “Amazing Grace.”

Someone even let Stedman out of his cage to make a little speech!

And of course what tribute to Oprah would be complete without national treasure and global renaissance woman Dr. Maya Angelou? The 83-year-old offered up a poem to honor O. Luckily a box of tissues was on hand for each audience member, tucked knowingly under their seats.

Oprah clearly doesn’t fuck around and considering these were her second and third-to-last shows, I can only imagine what the final episode will  be: disaster.

I don’t think too many of us can say that our high school football games were quite as exciting as this one. Will Smith, Selena Gomez, and Justin Bieber were all  in attendance at Trey Smith’s last football game. Get the scoop with TMZ’s video here.
