Edited by

Oh yeah. Pleated skirts are a springy way to spin through the day. And with warmer weather zig and zagging into cooler temps and back again, a maxi with dimension might be the solution to the switch. Tits on the Runway

Edited by

Vogues Paris and Italia have been no strangers to them, historically. American Vogue avoids them completely. Purple Mag masterfully exploits them. And New York Fashion Week is busting at the seams with them. We’re talking about boobs. Once relegated to the awkward nip slip, now the tits forward march dominates catwalk, and we love the sheer audacity. These are looks that may remind your man how sexy you can look in that see-thru floor length Yigal Azrouël, if only he buys it for you. Share your desire to replicate these runway looks at home alone with him, then layer into them when you step out in the big bad sadly non-nudist world. Because while you can’t see tits on the radio, you can see them on the runway. Happy Valentine’s Day.

#NYFW Cheat Sheet: Yigal Azrouël AW 2012

Edited by

Yigal Azrouël‘s fall 2012 show was dedicated to the “unintentional beauty in mystery” refracted through the lens of a woman both “fearless in her outlook and quiet in her confidence.” And that woman might easily have been Evelyn Mulwray – the heroine from Roman Polanski‘s classic 70s film noir Chinatown – portrayed brilliantly by Faye Dunaway. To wit, Azrouël’s collection mixed the mystery of the film noir femme fatale with the luxe glamour of the 70s then threw a giant raccoon hat on top of it all.

Full Color Spectrum of Spring Fashion Week

Edited by

Amongst the bevy of busy prints that has shaped this fashion week, we’ve noticed how equally represented Roy G. Biv has been. These shades, however, are unique to now, with a sense of vibrancy. According to designers in the Big 4: New York, London, Milan and Paris, it’s going to be a colorful Spring. Taste the rainbow

#NYFW Beauty Trend: Samurai Hair

Edited by

You can always count on the ponytail to be reinvented with each passing season. It comes in all shapes and sizes from bushy to sleek, high to low and can have curls, extensions or braids. For Spring 2012, designers looked east for inspiration. With a knot on the top and ponytail on the bottom, samurai hair is both chic and low maintenance. It’s been my go-to face washing hairstyle for years. Click through to see photos from all the labels on board.

Yigal Azrouël and Steven Kolb on the Verge of a Glorious Breakthrough

Edited by

Last night in a glass room above 29th St at Bar Basque, members of the CFDA, W Magazine, and I (and others) witnessed though the window several ladies go bat shit crazy. Well actually, we watched Women On The Verge Of A Nervous Breakdown, a film by Pedro Almodóvar. Only, it was quite difficult to concentrate on the movie when there were such interesting people with whom to converse.
