The sea of standard black suitcases streaming off the baggage claim not only is a confusing playland of lose-your-luggage, but it’s also super boring to watch. Give yourself a lift at the airport, and get a bag that jumps (and glides as if on ice). However, if you’re going to go black, at least go Jimmy Choo croc.

Last night, Yoox.com celebrated the work of Kenneth Jay Lane with a fantastic event launching “Fake Jewels, Real Glamour,” an exclusive collection of unique vintage from the KJL archives and classic reissues. Held at gorgeous Midtown East restaurant La Grenouille, the affair showcased pieces from the collection among flowers and greenery while wine and hors d’oeuvres were passed around the room.

The Corner, Yoox’s venture into the territory of little known designers, has just announced a partnership with Tom Notte e Bart Vandebosch of Les Hommes (who the fuck?!? my thoughts exactly) The fresh designer, who spent his youth designing for Hussein Chalayan, has created a “whimsical t-shirt” that plays with geometric forms and shades of gray and black. It’ll be available exclusively on the corner and will most likely cost as much as a rent payment.
Either way, I’m really loving The Corner, pretty good site for expensive, exclusive fashion items for men.
