Balenciaga‘s Spring/Summer 2011 campaign stars the world’s foremost supermodel Gisele Bundchen-Brady giving very masculine attitude, shot by Steven Meisel.

Yuri Plesken joins in on the action adorned by Pat McGrath‘s dramatic face paint…and little else. How do we feel about this? And is it me or does the image on the right look a bit Marc Jacobs/Juergen Teller-y?

Still I love to see Gisele as Tom Brady sees her: wearing the pants.

Photographed by Nord, Luke remains pensive and Ash lives up to his image, while Yuri breaks the mold with a welcomed glance at softness captured by Shannon Sinclair.

Inspired by 1986 video documentary Heavy Metal Parking Lot—which captured fans tailgating before a Judas Priest concert—the first V spread channels the heavy metal fashion that may have been part of the mayhem. Models include Lakshmi Menon, Jacquelyn Jablonski, Kori Richardson, Yuri Pleskun and Berthold Rothas.

The 80s cult classic film Heavy Metal Parking Lot exposed a world of fashion so bad it was good. Some 25 years later, the clothes might have changed but the attitude is still the same
