Dear Alice Temperley,

I thought we had a good thing going. You came to New York and showcased for the past couple of years. We gave you a great time and a spot as a GO! International designer for Target. And now we hear you’re leaving us for London?!?

Did we do something wrong? I just feel so betrayed Alice, I had no idea that you were even checking out other cities. And London? Of all places London? I could understand if you left us for Paris or Milan. It’s hard to argue their appeal, but London is just the flavor of the month. He’s just cool right now, we’ve been cool forever Alice. Can’t you remember the good times we shared? Long walks through Central Park, tours of the MET, shopping in SoHo? Oh, they have their own SoHo?

I hope you enjoy your time in London, Alice. Just don’t expect us to be waiting with open arms when you realize their “Big Ben” is nothing compared to our “Empire State”.
