An image from Nicola Formichetti’s first women’s line for Thierry Mugler debuted today and it’s suitably ambiguous and epic. I’m getting Sigourney Weaver-era Alien meets Nubian queen meets luxury car hood ornament.
The collection, entitled “Anatomy of Change,” will debut on March 2nd at Paris Fashion Week but to tempt our taste buds, Mugler will be releasing one “official inspiration image” — presumably related to some part of the anatomy — per day until then.
Consider me inspired.
